EC3 has been behind the 8-ball ever since signing his WWE contract.
#2 Cesaro

Could we finally see The Swiss Superstar on top?
I would be remiss if I were to finish this particular article without including Cesaro. Very few Superstars have been as mismanaged and under-utilized as Cesaro has during his WWE career.

Cesaro is one of the most seasoned veterans currently on the WWE main roster, with nearly 20-years of professional experience to his credit. PrBeforeigning with the company Cesaro excelled with some of the top independent promotions in the world. Ring of Honor, PWG, Chikara, and CZW are just a few of the high-level promotions that Cesaro enjoyed success with. In late-2011, Cesaro made his developmental debut as a developmental rookie on the FCW roster.

Roughly one year after making his developmental debut, Cesaro was elevated to the main roster and there was a lot of hope surrounding this new WWE Superstar. However, Cesaro's main roster ride has been much like a roller coaster, with a few ups, but even more downs. Cesaro has all of the necessary attributes to be a major singles star at the highest level. Not only that, but the fans are begging to see the Swiss Superstar finally get the opportunity to run with those ever-elusive brass rings.
With 2020 on the horizon, another lackluster year is in the books. If Cesaro can stay healthy, combined with a little love from the folk in suits...the Cesaro Section may finally get something to cheer for.

Jonathan Carpenter is a pro wrestling journalist at Sportskeeda. After obtaining a degree in political science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, he started writing WWE articles in 2016. Jonathan believes integrity is vital in journalism and ensures his work is high on accuracy. He conducts in-depth research and verifies information from various sources before curating a feature.
Jonathan has engaged in many meaningful conversations with prominent pro wrestling personalities like Drew McIntyre and DDP. He grew up in Memphis, admiring Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan during WWE’s Golden Era in the ‘80s. He has attended many pro wrestling events and credits The Hulkster for making his childhood memorable.
Jonathan, a big fan of Bray Wyatt, would like to see the latter's brother, Bo Dallas, continue his legacy as Uncle Howdy. If he were to work on the storyline, Jonathan would book the return of Erick Rowan as Howdy’s muscle. He thinks it would be a great way to honor the former Universal Champion.
When not writing pro wrestling features, Jonathan likes to collect sports memorabilia and has amassed a large collection of event-used and autographed relics over the years.
