What is Pro-Wrestling?

Professional Wrestling or Pro-Wrestling combines athleticism with theatrical performance. Pro-Wrestling started off as a sideshow at carnivals, with its origins in Europe in the 19th Century. During the 20th century, Pro-Wrestling has spread to many parts of the world including the United States, Japan, South America, Mexico and parts of Europe. The largest pro-wrestling promotion is the WWE. Other pro-wrestling promotions include Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor and NJPW.

With the pro-wrestling boom in the 1980s, Pro-wrestling has its own subculture much like comic books, science fiction and video games.
