#2 Lionheart vs. Angelico

The ICW World Heavyweight Championship was on the line in the fourth match of the night. Lionheart defeated Angelico and successfully retained his title in a match that lasted 17 minutes and 27 seconds. This was the third title defense of Lionheart, who became champion after defeating Jackie Polo in a historic match that took place at ICW Fear & Loathing XI in December 2018.
The first 10 minutes of the match were a bit slow but entertaining. It was a very technical match where there were almost no aerial maneuvers, so Angelico couldn’t show his full potential and was progressively dominated by Lionheart
Although he could not make big aerial maneuvers, Angelico showed great ability both to make moves and to dodge the attacks of his rival.
Lionheart was always close to winning the match. First with a Crossbody and then with a Superkick followed by a Full Nelson Slam. On both occasions, Angelico managed to avoid counting three.
Finally, Angelico couldn’t reverse the count of three after a Superkick by Lionheart followed by a Full Nelson Slam and a Frog Splash.
