What’s the story?
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Young Bucks were set to appear on an episode of Impact Wrestling to continue their feud with the Broken Hardyz, in a unique situation. It never happened as contract talks between the Hardy Boyz and Impact Wrestling feel through.
In case you didn’t know...
Matt and Jeff Hardy made a surprise appearance at Manhattan Mayhem VI earlier in the month and defeated the Young Bucks for the Ring Of Honor Tag Team Championship. The loss ended the Young Bucks’ 155-day run with the titles.
The heart of the matter
It is very seldom that wrestlers who are contracted to a particular promotion are allowed to appear on a rival company's television show. This is a tribute to the popularity of the Broken Matt Hardy character.

The power of social media also had a lot of to do with the interpromotional appearance. Both Matt Hardy and the Young Bucks utilise social media and were able to start a feud on Twitter.
What’s next?
Next weekend the Young Bucks will try to win the Ring Of Honor Tag Team Championships (and their own Superkick Party Championships) back at Supercard of Honor. The two teams are set to square off in a tag team ladder match for the titles.
Author's Take
The only loser in this whole situation is Impact Wrestling. Their handling of the Hardyz' contract situation has been made very public thanks to Reby Hardy. Everybody else won though as the Hardyz signed a short-term deal with Ring Of Honor. This has allowed their feud with the Young Bucks to continue into WrestleMania weekend.
The recent exodus of talent from Impact Wrestling coupled with their handling of the Hardyz means that the new management has gotten off to a rocky start.
