Tetsuya Naito vs. Chris Jericho [IWGP Intercontinental Championship]
Naito attacked Chris Jericho right out of the gate and hit him with a piledriver on the Steel Entrance Ramp.
Naito sent Jericho to the outside, but Y2J hit him with a Kendo Stick and used it to batter him. The use of the Kendo Stick saw Jericho in control. He dumped him on the outside and then went on the top of the table to hit a huge DDT. Jericho hit a huge ionsault for a near fall on Naito.
Naito managed to get back and showed his focus as he spat in Jericho's face. Naito went back to his wrestling prowess, but Jericho caught Naito and locked in the Walls of Jericho.
Naito reversed and hit Jericho with a high angled drive. Jericho locked in the Walls of Jericho but Naito got out. Jericho tried to use the Kendo Stick again, but Naito turned it against him.
Jericho hit Naito for a Codebreaker for a near fall. He tried to use a chair, but Naito turned it against him for a DDT and then a Codebreaker, mocking Jericho.
Naito followed up with a German Suplex on the chairs, but Jericho came back with a Codebreaker for a near fall.
Naito was ready for Jericho's attack and hit a Destino for a near fall. He eyed the belt and lined it up against Jericho and hit him with it followed by a huge Destino for the pinfall.
Results: Tetsuya Naito defeated Chris Jericho to become the new IWGP Intercontinental Champion.
