Carmella

The fabulous one held on to the Money in the Bank for a long, long time before cashing it in successfully.

Wins/Losses: With three wins and four losses, Carmella scores low in this category: Grade: D

Popularity: Carmella has struggled to get over in the talent-laden women's division, but seems to have made a breakthrough since capturing the Smackdown women's title. Grade: C

Championships: Carmella holds the Smackdown Women's title as of this writing, which can only result in one grade: Grade: A

Crossover Appeal: Carmella almost disappeared from WWE programming for a long stretch, and doesn't take advantage of social media like she should. Grade: D

Overall Grade: D+ Though things have turned around for her recently, most of Carmella's 2018 was less than inspiring.

Charlotte Flair

The Queen of women's wrestling continues to impress every time she 'walks that aisle.'

Ad

Wins/Losses: Eight wins and only four losses give Charlotte top marks in this category. Grade: A

Popularity: Charlotte is definitely over with the fans, though she seems to perform better as a babyface. Grade: A

Championships: Charlotte spent most of the year as the Smackdown Women's champion, though she lost it recently. Grade: A

Crossover Appeal: Charlotte focuses on wrestling rather than Total Divas appearances or spending a lot of time on social media, and few outside of wrestling know who she is. Grade: D

Overall Grade: A- Charlotte is right at the level she needs to be, but a little stronger cross-media presence wouldn't hurt her.
