World Rowing Federation to partner with BMW

World Rowing Federation (FISA) has signed on German automobile major BMW in a two-year partnership. The deal will allow BMW to tie up with FISA’s environmental programmes.

BMW hosted the Clean Water & Diplomatic Regatta event which works on sustainable development along with a rowing instruction course .

Matt Smith, executive director of FISA said: “BMW is a premium brand and a great match with World Rowing in terms of our values, market positioning – and in particular, our own Clean Water Alliance with WWF [the World Wide Fund for Nature].”

“This partnership with BMW gives our sport a powerful boost in our ability to communicate and educate our rowers and global audiences about the need to sustainably manage all fresh water resources.”
