As part of the Joy of Giving Week (October 2 – October 8), Pune Running – a running group based in the city of Pune – conducted one of the largest charity events in India on Sunday. The ‘Running Beyond Myself’ charity walk and run was held on Sunday, October 6, in a bid to generate funds for the underprivileged patients of the Neonatal ICU in KEM Hospital in Pune.
Almost 4,500 runners turned up for the event and along with a whole host of other volunteers and sponsors partnering in the event, the event was a marked success and attained its desired objective.

Noted actor and marathon runner Milind Soman was also part of the event.
In the 10k run, Sandel Nipane had the best time of 00:38:20, while the 15k run was won by Siddhartha Singh in a time of 01:08:25. The half-marathon was won by Tanaji Nalvade in a time of 01:15:50.
