As you probably already know, the grand TCS World 10K Bangalore 2014 will be taking place in Bangalore on the 18th of May, 2014, and this is one event which has grown substantially over the years. For the elite runners, for the recreational runners and for the amateur runners alike, Nike has organised the Nike+ Runners’ Meet on 26th April, 2014 at the Nike Brigade Road Store from 11 am to 2 pm.
An integral part of the ‘race’ experience is the build-up, the euphoria and the elevated sense of celebration that come along with the race itself. Running a race is not just about the time one spends on the course, it is also about the preparations that begin weeks in advance. Everything has to be just right. That’s where something like a runner’s meet comes in.
While the TCS 10K promises to be the coolest hangout for young runners, the Nike+ Runners’ Meet is a platform for runners to ask a variety of questions, seek solutions, meet fellow runners and to simply soak in the excitement of running the TCS World 10K!
The Nike Run Club coaches, Kothandapani KC and Reeth Abraham will be present at the Runners’ Meet, along with highly experienced nutritionists to provide guidance and answer queries; they will provide a plethora of experience when it comes to running a no-frills race.
More details will be released but do know that this is a date you must keep free; be present at the Nike Brigade Road Store at 11 am! Us runners do not get such opportunities so easily and on a platter so they must be grabbed when they are presented.
The TCS World 10K promises to be a celebration, a festival and an experience to be cherished. Young runners will be at the forefront of it all, as they look to run for pride, and run for glory. For runners aged 15-24, Nike has taken a monumental step by promising to send the top male and female finisher in the category for an international race experience. A large number of teenagers and young adults have already signed up for the race on 18th May, 2014, and are expected to add a new dimension to the Runners’ Meet on 26th April, 2014 as well, making the Namma race ‘cooler’ and more ‘classy’.
Registrations for the open 10K in the TCS World 10K Bangalore 2014 close on 26th April 2014. If you have not yet registered, I do sincerely urge you to wait no further and just do it already. Visit: http://tcsworld10k.
