Vijay Kumar was part of three-member team that won the bronze medal

The Indian Men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol team clinched the bronze medal at the ongoing Asian Shooting Championships in Kuwait on Tuesday. The three-member team consisting of Vijay Kumar, Neeraj Kumar and Akshay Suhas finished third in the final after firing 577, 570 and 565 in the summit clash to end in third place.
In the individual event, Neeraj finished in 11th place. This is now India’s third medal at the Championships and the first team medal. Earlier, Jitu Rai and Heena Sidhu clinched the silver medal and gold medal respectively in the 50m Men’s and the 10m Air Pistol event respectively.
There is another day left in the event and India would hoping to finish the competition off on a high.
