By doing so, Vivaan Kapoor won his first-ever individual medal in a senior shooting competition. Anantjeet Singh went up next and was equally impressive in the skeet final. The silver medalist from 2023 Asian Games, Naruka shot 43 to snatch a podium finish.

Veteran Indian Olympian shooter Mairaj Ahmad Khan also competed in the same final as Singh. However, Khan could only register a last-place finish. Shooter Ganemat Sekhon competed in the women's skeet final but had to suffice with a sixth-place finish.

Shreyasi Singh and Rajeshwari Kumari both failed to make it to the women's trap final. Maheshwari Chauhan also failed to qualify for the women's skeet event.
