Romania and Chinese Taipei continue to hold the second place with two medals each (one gold and one silver).
Meanwhile, China and Germany bagged their first medal on Day 2 of the ISSF Junior World Championship 2024. Both nations are placed fourth in the medal tally with one gold medal apiece.
Ukraine won a silver medal on the second day of the competition and retained the sixth position with two medals (one silver and one bronze).
Azerbaijan and Slovakia slipped to seventh place with one silver medal each. France clinched a silver medal in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event to occupy the seventh position in the medal tally.
Hungary and Italy dropped four spots to the 10th place with one bronze medal each.
India wins two bronze medals in mixed team events on Day 2
India won a bronze medal each in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team and 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team on Day 2 of the ISSF Junior World Championship 2024.
In the Air Pistol event, the bronze medal match witnessed an all-India clash as Lakshita/Pramod took on Kanishka Dagar/Mukesh Nelavalli. The former pair won the bronze medal with a score of 16-8.
Germany won the gold medal, while Ukraine had to settle for a silver medal as the scoreline read 17-9.
Meanwhile, China edged out France in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team gold medal match by a couple of points.
The Indian pair of Gautami Bhanot and Ajay Malik India blanked Croatia 17-9 to add another bronze medal to their tally.
