China (previously fourth) have moved to the second position in the medal tally, courtesy of a gold and silver medal on Day 3. They have two gold medals and a silver medal to their name.
Meanwhile, the United States of America have broken into the top 3 in the ISSF Junior World Championship 2024 medal tally. They won eight medals (one gold, four silver, and three bronze) on September 30.
Italy are placed fourth in the medal tally with four medals (one gold, one silver, and one bronze). Germany, on the other hand, are fifth with one gold, one silver, and as many bronze medals.
Romania and Chinese Taipei are sixth with two medals, having won one gold and silver medal each so far in the 2024 edition of the ISSF Junior World Championship.
Greece are placed eighth in the standings with one gold and one bronze medal. Great Britain find themselves in ninth place with one gold medal, while France are 10th with a couple of silver medals.
With one silver and bronze medal each, Ukraine are 11th in the medal tally. Azerbaijan and Slovakia are 12th with one silver medal apiece. Hungary, Poland, and Norway jointly hold the 14th place with one bronze medal each.
A total of 42 medals (14 gold, 14 silver, and 14 bronze medals) have been won by 16 nations across three days of the ISSF Junior World Championship 2024 in Peru.

Team India are favorites to clinch the overall title at the ISSF Junior World Championship 2024. The young shooters have been making strides at the competition in Peru with five gold medals and three silver medals in just three days.
With a few more days to go, the Asian nation is surely in for more medals and more glory at the junior shooting event.
