The ISSF Shooter of the Year Award winners will be announced during the ISSF World Cup Final in New Delhi before the opening ceremony, the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) announced on Wednesday (October 2).
12 shooters, six male and as many female athletes, have been shortlisted by the International Shooting Sport Federation for the ISSF Shooter of the Year Award. The final shortlisted shooters were decided after a voting process, involving the global governing body’s Athletes and Coaching Commissions, the media team, and journalists.
Four male Chinese shooters have made it to the final list, while Chile, France, Switzerland, France, USA, and Italy have one shooter each shortlisted for the Award. Yang Ji-in and Kim Ye-ji from Korea have also made the cut for the ISSF Shooter of the Year Award.
One male and female shooter will win the ISSF Shooter of the Year Award. Both shooters will be awarded a trophy and a diploma, according to a statement from the International Shooting Sport Federation.

Women: Francisca Crovetto (Chile), Camille Jedrzejewski (France), Kim Ye-ji (Korea), Chiara Leone (Switzerland), Adriana Ruano Oliva (Guatemala), Yang Jiin (Korea)
Men: Vincent Hancock (USA), Li Yuehong (China), Liu Yukun(China), Paolo Monna (Italy), Sheng Lihao (China), Xie Yu (China).
ISSF World Cup Final to be held in New Delhi
The final shooting event for the 2024 season, the ISSF World Cup Final will take place from October 13 to 18 at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi, India.
India's double bronze-medalist Manu Bhaker will be a notable absentee from the season-ending competition as the Indian shooter decided to take a break after the Paris Olympics glory.
