She scored 29 out of 50 shots to settle for the bronze medal in the final while USA's Jeana Carey Garrison bagged the gold medal with 40 out of 50 shots. Other women's trap shooters from India, Aashima Ahlawat, Bhavya Tripathi, Divya Singh, and Rajkuwar Pranil Ingle, settled for the seventh, 26th, 31st, and 33rd ranks, respectively. Aashima missed out on the final berth by just one point.

Arya Vansh Tyagi misses out on final in men’s trap of Shotgun Junior World Cup 2024

Regrettably, in the trap men's junior event of the Shotgun Junior World Cup 2024, the Indian shooters failed to create an impact in the qualification round. Arya Vansh Tyagi finished with the eighth rank with a total of 119 points in the qualification round while the top six shooters secured the final spots.

Interestingly, in the triangular shoot-off for the last spot in the final, Arya Vansh (+1) couldn't make it big as Spain's Eduard Salichs (+6) finished on top going past Finland's Kaarlo Hoppu (+5).

Italy's Riccardo Mirabile, with 45 out of possible 50 shots, bagged the gold medal. Neutral athlete Ramir Nikolaev settled for the silver medal with 40 shots while Spain’s Eduard Salichs bagged the bronze medal with 32 shots.
