Sanjeev Rajput secured India’s eighth Olympic quota in shooting with a silver medal in men’s 50m rifle 3 positions event at the Shooting World Cup. The 38-year-old Haryana shooter is seen as an old cannon among young guns. But his experience would prove handy for India’s medal prospects at the Tokyo Olympics. . The 2018 Asian Games silver medallist had earlier won gold at Korea in 2011 apart from a silver at Azerbaijan in 2016.
