German skier Felix Neureuther registered his 10th World Cup victory in the men's slalom at Madonna di Campiglio resort of Italy.
The 30-year-old Neureuther finished second in the World Cup slalom standings in the past two years. He won Monday's event in a time of one minute 40.57 seconds, and his compatriot Fritz Dopfer was second, 0.82 second slower than Neureuther, reports Xinhua.
"I attacked, relaxed and took it lightly. I even had time to think of Christmas." Neureuther said.
Thanks to this win, Neureuther replaced Hirscher on top of the slalom World Cup standings.
