10 Lesser Known Better Halves of WWE Superstars

We all know how the combination of relationships and professional wrestling can be disastrous. Most of the love stories that sprout between two professional wrestlers end in a sad ending. And perhaps this would be the reason for many others choosing their other halves from elsewhere. A wrestling couple is sure to make us drool on any day and we will come to know about each and every movement that they make thanks to the internet. It is, however, an entirely different story when a wrestler decides to date from the outside world. A majority of the WWE fans will have no idea on who is dating in such cases, and we are going to ease up on the knwoledge by listing out some of the lesser known other halves of WWE superstars. (Okay, there are going to be some entries from the wrestling business as well.

#10 Roman Reigns - Galina Becker

Roman Reigns tied the knot with Galina Becker in 2014 and he also has a daughter, who the fans would be familiar with thanks to the WWE photo-shoot.

#9 Chris Jericho-Jessica

The fans out there who read Chris Jericho’s autobiographies would be more than familiar with his wife Jessica. It is a rare love story and Jericho has penned in down beautifully in the book. He met Jessica while touring with WWE and after a year or so spend in dating, the duo decided to tie the knot in 2000.

They have three children now, Ash Edward Irvine, who was born in 2003, Sierra Loretta Irvine and Cheyenne Lee Irvine, both born in 2006 as identical twins. Jericho has the first name of his wife tattooed in his left arm and this is indeed one of those love stories that everyone could look up to.

#8 Mark Henry-Jana Henry

Mark Henry has been around the wrestling business for a long time and although he is a veteran to be frank, Henry is nowhere near as successful as he would have wanted to be after all those years. Keeping his wrestling career apart, Henry has a happy family life.

He lives in Austin with his wife Jana Henry and their two children Joanna and Jacob. It is one of those relationships that didn’t get the public recognition due to Henry’s secrecy but just like the Jericho one, Henry is also a role model for everyone out there looking to strike up a lengthy strong relationship.

#7 Brandi Rhodes-Cody Rhodes

Both Cody Rhodes and Brandy Rhodes belong to the wrestling business and that is why they only get a honorable mention. And that too since a big portion of the WWE fans doesn’t know that these two are actually married in real life. Her career with WWE started back in 2011 and just two years later, she was the wife of Cody Rhodes.

Brandy had asked for her release back in 2011 after finding it hard to fit into the business but she later returned to WWE after tying the knot. Although WWE is yet to mention their relationship on television programming, the duo is seen constantly together on television due to the nature of their job.

#6 Crystal Maurisa Goins-Kane

The big red monster might have been a terrifying superstar in between the ropes; he however is a sweetheart in real life. Kane has been in a two-decade long marriage life with Crystal Maurice Goins and the couple have two children as well.

Keeping such a long relationship is not something that happens often with a professional wrestler and Kane deserves his credit for keeping the ship afloat. He currently opened an insurance firm with his wife and there were rumors of him quitting WWE at one point to try his hand in the business alongside his wife.

#5 Catalina White-Jack Swagger

Catalina White was in the news lately for the leaked sex tape and pictures and believe it or not, she is the wife of Jack Swagger. Jack Swagger’s career in WWE has been going through a rough patch lately and last year it was even worse with all the controversy that his wife was involved in.

And apart from being a Model, Catalina was also a former WWE developmental star. She tried out wrestling under the name Saylor James, but failed to make the cut into the bigger leagues. Catalina and Swagger married back in 2010 and had their first child a year later in 2011.

#4 Renee Young-/Dean Ambrose

Renee Young and Dean Ambrose are two of the most important names in the WWE programming these days and though this fact has leaked on the Internet recently, not many know that these two are actually dating. The news was confirmed by Renee in March 2015 and though it was treated as an internet rumour earlier, it soon found its credibility.

Since then, it's even been acknowledged on WWE television.

#3 Kim Marie Randy Orton

Randy Orton has a notorious reputation for being hard to get along with. This reputation was underlined many times in his personal life thanks to his divorce in 2013. The heroine in the divorce story was Samantha Speno and they married back in 2007.

Later, Orton was rumoured to be involved with Total Divas star Jojo Offerman and it was further fueled when Orton posted a picture in his twitter, where he kissed her setting off many rumours.

The Viper later put all these rumours to bed by posting a picture of him and his new girlfriend in Twitter and the girl involved was American model Kim Marie.

The two are now married and even have a child together.

#2 Rebecca Curci Shawn Michaels

This is technically a wrestling couple but since most of the modern era fans don’t know this, it has a place in the list. Shawn Michaels tied the knot with Rebecca Curci back in 1999 and the duo is still going strong today.

Rebecca was a Nitro girl back in the 90s and was known around the wrestling business as Whisper. She left WCW and her career in the wrestling business to marry Michaels. The couple has two children named Cameron Kade and Cheyenne Michelle. Although the old wrestling fans would have seen her many times, the new ones might only recognize her from the 2011 Hall of Fame ceremony, which was officially her last appearance on the WWE programming.

#1 Kristin Austin - Steve Austin

How can we not include the wife of Steve Austin in the list? Austin married his current wife Kirstin Austin back in 2009 and they currently live happily in their ranch in Texas. This was however Austin’s fourth marriage after all his previous three came crashing down.

Austin first marriage came in 1990 with his high school crush and once it ended in 1992, Austin had his second. The third marriage of Austin came in 1999 with former WWE superstar Debra and this story came to an end in 2002 after a lot of controversy. Austin was arrested by the police for abusing Debra and it is one of those things that the WWE wouldn’t want you to know about their Attitude Era icon.
