3 things that worked at WWE Night of Champions 2015

Rusev was good but he still lost

Jericho returned at NoC 2015This was, overall, an extremely well executed PPv. There were not many misses compared to the hits. There were a few feel-good moments and despite everything storylines continued. This Ppv will be remembered for the brilliant storylines in display for most of the matches. Not every champion came out defending their respective titles. Three titles changed hands tonight and all of them happened in spectacular fashion. Also, they were all the right call. All three new champions bring a lot of promise to their newly attained championships and to the division they’re going to defend it in.Here are the 3 things that worked-

#3 Rusev Vs Ziggler

Rusev was good but he still lost

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Arguably, the worst storyline going forward to the PPV was this. All four talented performers embroiled in this feud have nothing sensible to work with. But there is no doubt that out of all the good matches in the PPV, this was one of them. Ziggler and Rusev tore the house down. It was all a mighty relief for this feud. Also, somebody, namely Ziggler, got a decisive win which means that this feud should logically be reaching its end.

It isn’t like everydat that this feud gets something good coming out of it.

#2 Sting losing clean

Sting put over Rollins

It worked so, so well.

Sting lost clean. He’s just there to put over people. Also, that gave Rollins tremendous credibility- he won clean after having a terrific match against Cena. Sheamus and Kane both took a shot at him. He went through a lot tonight.

This was also awesome because while Triple H needed sufficient help from DX to beat Sting, Rollins needed none.

A babyface turn is soon coming to the fore.

#1 The Third Partner

Still the better team

Sure, it was great to see Y2J return and be the third member helping Ambrose and Reigns in overcoming the Wyatt Family. But what was even better was the fact that this did not work at all in the favour of the babyface team. Wyatts overcame Y2J, Ambrose and Reigns with sheer, brutal, raw power.

And Jericho was least impressed, walking off angrily. That means Ambrose and Reigns need to find someone else. The search continues and so does the mystery.

Will this feud continue like this for a long time? Will Rollins eventually come to the aid and signal the reunion? Oh, the possibilities!
