#1 Olympic Games,London,2012
Mary was the lone Indian boxer to have qualified for the London Olympics in 2012. She lost to eventual gold medal winner Nicola Adams.
#2 World Amateur Boxing Championships, Barbados, 2010
Mary won her fifth consecutive World Championship in Barbados in 2010 in the 48 Kg category after the International Boxing Federation had scrapped the 46 Kg class.
#3 Guangzhou Asian Games 2010
Mary fought hard in the flyweight (51 Kg) category at the 2010 Asian Games, but she had to settle for a bronze.
#4 Asian Women\'s boxing Championships, Guwahati,2008
It was a special win for Mary as she had returned to the ring after eight years. She had to be content with a silver medal in the pinweight category, but it was a superb return,nonetheless.
#5 World Amateur Boxing Championships,Scranton, 2001
It was Mary Kom’s debut tournament and she did tremendously well to clinch a silver medal in the 48 Kg category in Pennsylvania. She lost to Hulya Sahin in the final. It was a great way to announce herself on the world stage!
