Charisma has long been the most important thing that WWE can ask for from its talent. A performer may be a great wrestler, a great technician that is and still not get recognised. Charisma is that hook in a storyline, the USP that gets you over and going forward. For some, it may require a lot of work but some have a natural flair. You do not necessarily have to be a great technician to be the biggest brand in the WWE.All you need is that control over the crowd- the cardinal rule of wrestling. Here are the 5 most charismatic stars on WWE TV at present.
#5 Brock Lesnar
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Here’s a performer who isn’t a great on the mic but he’s simply a great in his own right. Right now, nobody is a bigger brand in WWE than Lesnar. He beat the Undertaker’s Wrestlemania streak, he’s given a beating to John Cena just like a hardcore wrestling fan’s dream, he’s made many simple moves look spectacular and whenever he makes his way to the ring, business sure does pick up.
But what greatly helps in accentuating his majestic presence is the vocal talent of his advocate whose name is PAUL HEYMAN.
Lesnar 's got tremendous strength and he plays his character perfectly whether it is standing nonchalantly when his opponent threatens him or imposing a strong presence when Heyman is listing his achievements and his plan of action. Heyman is an important entity in his making.
#4 Finn Balor
There is a reason how Finn Balor went from a tag team performer to NXT Champion. That reason is charisma. He is not the most charismatic speaker but BAH GAWD can he make an entrance. He’s tremendously attractive and he’s already made a huge following with his demonic entrane. It’s spectacular, it’s majestic. It’s a show of its own.
You don’t buy a ticket to see him talk but you buy one for the experience you get when he make his way to the ring in the most elaborate way possible. His entrance song is tremendous in itself.
Balor will be successful inspite of his lack of mic skills.
#3 Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt hasn’t had many memorable feuds yet. He was better as vthe leader of his own cult that he call the Wyatt Family but after they randomly split, Wyatt has been having a hard time in finding a long lasting feud. Until now. Roman Reigns has been a good opponent for him so far.
But despite some short feuds what has worked in Wyatt’s favor is his prowess on the mic, his strange monologues and his eerie, mesmerizing entrance.
It’s been a striking transition from being a member of The Nexus to being the leader of a world of his own.
#2 Kevin Owens
He came. He saw Cena. He conquered Cena and then he was defeated by Cena and then finally he was made to tap out. It’s unsettling that he has many detractors in the company wanting him to fail. It’s disheartening to know that it’s because of Cena’s dwindling merchandise sales after his loss to Owens.
But Owens was and still is an MVP when it comes to NXT.
There is a reason why a legend like Stone Cold Steve Austin is high on this talent. This guy is unbelivable in the ring, has tremendous in-ring psychology and he surely knows how to cut a promo.
#1 Dean Ambrose
There is nobody at the moment in the WWE who has a presence quite like Dean Ambrose. He’s great on the mic, good in the ring and an intriguing character. Sure, he hasn’t been booked like a champion but one day, and hopefully that day comes soon, he will carry a championship around with all its glory intact.
Nobody really expected the man who played Jon Moxley to ever be a bayface. But he isn’t your typical clean chit underdog of a face. He’s got complexities. He’s an anarchist. He’s a guy who stays on the wild side of things.
All these aspects have helped make him one of the the most popular superstars of his generation
