5 occasions on which the T-shirts of WWE superstars were mimicked

‘AxelMania’ brother!

The T-shirt specialistThe way in which a WWE superstar carries himself to the arena has a great impact on the minds of the WWE universe.WWE superstars use their T-shirts to great advantage to drive home this point. They come up with impressive punch lines that reflect their attitude and that is something the crowd loves a lot. You would be surprised when I tell you that there were a few occasions on which the T.shirts of one superstar were mimicked by the others and that led to hilarious consequences. As part of this slideshow, let us have a look at 5 instances on which the T-shirts of the superstars were mimicked-

#5 Curtis Axel

‘AxelMania’ brother!

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Axel would be an interesting pick in this list. Axel's character became stale in WWE after his short run as the IC Champion. Nothing worked with this guy and he didn't fit in any division- either the tag team or the mid-card.

Then WWE came up with something creative for Axel. He was asked to team up with Damien Sandow and both these superstars used to mimic the famous Hogan and Macho Man. Axel came up with a new T-shirt on which "AxelMania" was printed. This was the imitated version of the legendary Hogan's "Hulkamania".

It seemed absurd, but it surely helped Axel to save himself without becoming extinct in the business.

#4 Daniel Bryan

‘The Yes Man’

You may be surprised to see Daniel in the list, but he was an obvious inclusion.

In 2013, Daniel faced Cena at SummerSlam and did the unthinkable. Just weeks before this match, Daniel came up with an innovative T-shirt design mimicking John Cena. Back then, John wore a T-Shirt which had a downward arrow pointed towards the Championship telling "The Champ is here".

Daniel turned this upside down. He used an arrow pointing upward towards his beard and the words "The Beard is here" were printed on the shirt. One of the craziest imitations ever. Isn't it?

#3 CM Punk

‘The Best in the World’

Punk is known for doing all the weird things in the world. He did something crazy by mimicking a famous T-Shirt of The Rock.

The lines that Rock used on the T-Shirt were "Boots to Asses". Punk brought in a tinge of his creativity and re-framed it as "Knees to Faces" which symbolizes the ‘Go To Sleep’ move that Punk used. Imitating the 'Great One' would always be great and if that was Punk who does it, it would be even better.

This was obviously one of the best imitations of a wrestlers T-shirt ever.

#2 Seth Rollins

‘The Sell-out’

This was the latest of the lot. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion and the US Champion came up with an interesting T-shirt design prior to the SummerSlam PPV.

Cena was famous for his "Never Give Up" slogan for years. Rollins came up with something on these lines. He came up with his own version of "Never Shuts Up" which indirectly took a jab at Cena. Rollins was known for doing all sorts of ridiculous things in the company and this one was no surprise.

#1 Owen Hart

Craziest ever! Isn’t it?

This was an all time classic imitation of a WWE T-Shirt. Remember the "Austin 3:16" T-Shirt that Stone Cold used to wear?

Austin used this T-shirt design to symbolize what he did to Jake Roberts at the 1996 King of the Ring contest. Owen Hart came up with something similar indicating "Owen 3:16/I just broke your neck". This was to mock Austin by conveying him that Owen Hart broke his neck at the 1997 SummerSlam PPV.
