The spin department certainly isn’t the strongest but if England can get 40 overs of quality fast bowling then they won’t have to worry much about spin. He captained England for 1st time in recently concluded tri-series. England reached the final beating India and gave tough competition to Australia. The two teams they played against are top favorites to win the World Cup. Morgan has already been a seasoned campaigner as he has played for KKR & Sydney Thunders for a long time now.

He has the experience of playing on Australian pitches during his BBL stint. Butler too has been rewarded with vice-captaincy for his heroics in past few months. Both these men aren’t going to hold back from playing audacious cricket.

When the World Cup was just around the corner, England successfully found the perfect opening combination. Bell began his World Cup campaign with a massive 187 against Prime Minister’s XI.
