5 Things that The Undertaker is yet to achieve in WWE

Taker is yet to have a US or IC title reign

Taker is yet to achieve certain things in WWEUndertaker is a legend in the professional wrestling business, period. No one is going to raise a debate against this statement. Over the past three decades, Taker has built up a resume that most of professional wrestlers could only dream of. He had a legendary streak in WrestleMania that stretched for more than a decade, had a string of five-star matches, held multiple championships and gave us memories that we would cherish forever.Despite all these, there are certain things that the Phenom is yet to achieve in the promotion. This list is going to take a look at those milestones that the Undertaker is yet to reach.

#5 Intercontinental and United States Championship

Taker is yet to have a US or IC title reign

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Undertaker has had multiple reigns with multiple championships. He is a seven time tag team champion, a three time WWE World Heavyweight champion, a four time WWE Champion, and one time Hardcore champion. However, two titles that Undertaker is yet to win in WWE are the United States Championship and the Intercontinental Championship.

Both titles have rich history when it comes to the promotion and not holding these despite having such an illustrious career is something that needs addressing. Taker’s career is almost over and if WWE lets him have two midcard title reigns at this point, it would be pointless but at the same time, none of the fans would complain.

#4 Money in the Bank

A victim of MITB, not a winner

Money in the Bank might be a concept that was introduced late in the WWE timeline. But with the short span of time it had, it has turned into a cult achievement among the wrestlers. The beauty of cashing in the Money in the Bank contract is something extraordinary and it is also something that the Deadman hasn’t achieved yet.

In fact, Undertaker is yet to compete in a Money in the Bank match. He was the victim of a cash-in when Edge cashed in on him back in 2007. Taker competing in the Money in the Bank match at this point of his career is a long shot as his body could take some big punishment in the match.

#3 Reign as the King

King Undertaker has a certain ring to it

These days, King of the Ring might’ve lost its credibility. However, back during the late 90s, becoming King of the Ring was a big deal. It was also the time frame when Undertaker slowly began climbing up the ladder. Most of his peers went on to sit in the throne but Taker didn’t.

Maybe the cryptic character of Undertaker was not suited for such a tournament or status but considering that he won almost all the other titles that existed during that time frame, it could be a case of misjudgment from WWE. There is still time for Undertaker to win this, but winning it at this point would be a disgrace for his career.

#2 Hasn\'t faced Austin, Rock or John Cena at WrestleMania

Nope

Undertaker’s streak at WrestleMania is synonymous to his legendary status in the business. He defeated numerous legends throughout his two-decade long streak but it’s not those opponents that feature in this slide, it is the exclusions. It is surprising to know that Undertaker did not face names like Steve Austin, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, or John Cena at WrestleMania.

Steve Austin’s name could be taken lightly as the streak got famous after Austin’s retirement. But WWE not utilizing the star power of the streak to have a John Cena vs. Undertaker or The Rock vs. Undertaker showdown at WrestleMania is surprising. Although the streak is over, we would still love to see Taker face Cena or Rock at the grand stage of them all.

#1 Hall of Fame induction

In the next five years

Undertaker might’ve not achieved this yet, but this is a guaranteed achievement for him (unless he does something controversial and WWE writes him off). Taker is one of the most recognized names in the wrestling industry and it would be surprising if he does not headline a Hall of Fame class after his retirement.

The Hall of Fame induction of Taker could happen inside the next five years and when it happens, the most exciting part of the induction would be Undertaker’s speech. Seeing Taker deliver a speech on a personal level would be moving and it is something which has the potential to break the internet into pieces.
