CM Punk is the most vocal detractor of the WWE Creative there will ever be.WWE’s creative woes have given us much over the years to mull over. As an ardent fan of logic, creative has found ways to disappoint the masses over and over again. It has led to many superstars actually talking about their frustration with the said team. Some walked out and returned some time later while others left never to come back again. Some are still in good terms, while some – maybe one – is absolutely not. Given how much flak Creative gets for not giving each performer the right amount of attention and content to work with, it’s obvious where the anger and frustration stems from against them. Here are the 5 superstars who have had major issues with WWE’s creative team-

#5 Gail Kim

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

There shouldn’t really be any doubt that many women may have had major issues with the Creative, given how they’ve been treated creatively. Women in WWE have not really got their dues as much as the men have, though, NXT is sort of leading a change.

Gail Kim left WWE after she walked out in the middle of a Battle Royal in Raw. It was a blink and miss moment but her eventual request for a release was met with some gasps.

Even during her time with WWE, she honestly reflected on her matches and time in the WWE on Twitter. She once wrote on Twitter that the division was not suffering with the lack of talent but with a lack of time, storylines and use of talent.

#4 Batista

Batista’s 2014 Royal Rumble win was a huge thumbs- down moment

There has been no return as badly booked in recent years as the one Batista had in 2014. It was appalling that they made him win The Royal Rumble the same year Daniel Bryan was just so white hot and the audience was frantic to get him to main event Wrestlemania.

It all worked and Batista’s journey through it all was as a heel. He reflects upon it in an interview saying, “He said: “I was just constantly butting heads with them creatively, which is something we talked about well beforehand, and I was promised things that weren’t delivered to me. For one, I didn’t want to go back as a babyface. I said it’s not going to work, they don’t want to see me as a babyface.”

#3 Mick Foley

Mick Foley has been very vocal on social media about WWE’s creative issues

Mick Foley has long been critical of WWE Creative’s decisions which are not particularly pertaining to him but to a plethora of talent.

Whether it was WWE’s treatment of Daniel Bryan or the treatment of female performers or when he compared the promos from Austin/ The Rock days to what he called a ‘cookie- cutter’ way of presenting things these days – Foley is a voice of many fans when he writes such snippets and for that very reason, has earned the fans’ respect.

He’s called the Creative team ‘stagnant’ and ‘stinking’. So, it was sort of promising when his son Dewey was hired to be part of the Creative team.

#2 Stone Cold Steve Austin

Stone Cold abruptly left the company in 2002

Well, for years Austin never really talked about his walk-out in 2002 as something he thought needed apologizing, but in recent years, he has very openly been sorry for the turn of events that year. He was supposed to put over Brock Lesnar, who was swiftly emerging as the ‘next big thing’.

At that point in his career, Austin felt rabidly insulted by the Creative, mainly McMahon, for booking him to lose to The Beast without any build up. He felt like all his hard work went to waste just like that, in one singular, solitary loss.

Austin very infamously walked out but came back after Jim Ross played an instrumental role in getting him back into the WWE fold.

#1 CM Punk

Punk was quite honest about his dislike for Triple H

Over the last few years, there has been no other superstar who’s blatantly confessed about their discomfort about what happens backstage. CM Punk earned much respect for that mere fact, and for that, he has some major credibility and support behind him for leaving the one thing he loved so very much.

Punk opened up more than a can of worms when he appeared on his friend Colt Cabana’s podcast and revealed his dislike for Triple H and how Hunter almost stole and ran with his idea of forming The Shield, how he just wasn’t given the opportunity of main eventing Wrestlemania, while they camouflaged this by telling him that facing Triple H is like being in the main event.

It even boggled his mind that Daniel Bryan was not even under consideration to main event Wrestlemania since his act was so very over. He revealed how he’d come up with an idea and then he’ll witness that idea being used for someone else. He had an extensive tell-all podcast over his troubles with WWE’s Creative environment.
