The best pictures from women's tennis in 2014

2014 was a fantastic year on the women’s tour! Serena Williams returned to the top of the rankings after dismal performances in the first three Grand Slams. Eugenie Bouchard performed exceeding well at the Majors as she reached the semifinals or better in three out of four Grand Slams. Maria Sharapova improved this year and ended the season at No. 2, and we saw Simona Halep and Caroline Wozniacki showcasing some brilliant tennis.The year was full of new faces, fashion, glamour and of course new champions! Serena equalled Navratilova and Evert in the all-time Slam winners’ list by winning her 18th in New York.
