#1 A minute silence for the victims of Paris terror attack
The terrorist attack on a Paris’ restaurant, a concert hall and outside the Stade de France saw more than a hundred people lose their lives and over 200 wounded. The German football team was playing against the hosts, France in an international friendly when the triple bombing outside the stadium took place.
Reportedly, both the teams stayed in the stadium for the whole night amidst the chaos which was unfolding outside. The intensity of the matter has brought all the sporting world together, and the Cricket All-Stars joined the list of various sportspersons to express their feelings for those affected by the attacks.
Before the match started in Los Angeles, both the teams observed a minute of silence for the victims of the terrorist attack and French national flag was displayed on the big screen.
#2 Virender Sehwag\'s singing skills
The Nawab of Nazafgarh was heard signing Atif Aslam’s ‘Tu Jaane Na’ while batting as he was wired up to converse with the commentators. He was also heard singing Kishore Kumar’s ‘Chala Jata Hu’ in the previous match.
What makes it better is that the swashbuckling batsman instantly hit the next ball for a six over mid-wicket with just a flick off his pads. The incident happened on the last ball of the third over which Alan ‘The White Lightning’ Donald was bowling. Sehwag was wired up as he was talking to the commentators and that was how everyone heard him singing.
The opener has revealed a long time ago that singing songs while batting helps him relax, and his carefree approach to the game only proves the fact.
You can watch the full video of Sehwag singing and then hitting the next ball for six here.
#3 Warne hitting a six to win the match
Virender Sehwag was given the responsibility of bowling the last over of the match with Ponting and Kallis on the crease. The Warriors needed eight runs off the final over to earn a clean sweep over the Blasters.
Kallis scored a boundary from the second ball of the over, however, Sehwag got him out on the very next ball and made the match a wee bit more interesting. Shane Warne was the next batsman to come out with 3 runs needed off as many balls. Ponting gave the leg-spinner strike for the final two deliveries.
Warne was in no mood to fiddle about as he smashed Sehwag for a six over midwicket to finish the match and draw curtains to the tournament.
#4 Ambrose getting Michael Vaughan on the first ball
Sachin Blasters posted a huge total of 219 runs in their quota of 20 overs. The Warriors surely needed a good start to reach the desired target.
Michael Vaughan was given the chance to open the batting for the Warriors along with Mathew Hayden. Curtly Ambrose, who is nowhere near his best days now was given the ball to open the attack for the Blasters.
The great West-Indian bowled the ball a bit outside off, and Vaughan tried to tinker with the ball but ended up playing himself down.
However, the great start with the ball did not materialise for the Blasters as they fell down to their counterparts by 4 wickets.
#5 Ganguly\'s hairstyle
Blasters’ captain Sachin Tendulkar handed the ball to Sourav Ganguly in the ninth over of Warrior’s innings, the Prince of Kolkata bowled the first ball with a cap on but when he took off his cap for the next ball, his messed-up hair style was for everyone to see.
The over did not go well, as Sangakkara blasted Dada for a six and couple of boundaries, and a total of 17 runs were extracted from his over.
Though, Dada’s hairstyle became the talk of the town as a number of tweets referring to his hair styles were posted on the social media site.
