Marcelo’s rating in the game is yet to be announced by Electronic Arts, but we predict to be somewhere around 82 with no significant change. The Brazilian left-back had a sub-par season with Real Madrid and a rather forgettable year with the national team.
The 27-year old defender had scored an own goal in the opening game against Croatia in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and was part of the team who were hammered by Germany in a game that ended with a scoreline of 7-1.
Coming back to the game, Marcelo will, however, continue to be one of the best left-backs with high attacking attributes. The same couldn't be said about his defending, but then again, he makes it up with his speed and knack for providing inch perfect crosses and dribbling the ball exceptionally well for a defensive player.

#9 Pepe - 83
Aged 32, Pepe’s ratings are unlikely to increase this year, and although EA are yet to reveal his rating, we can predict that it is going to stay the same in FIFA 16. The Brazil-born Portugal international made a total of 42 starts for Real Madrid and Portugal last season, and enjoyed a rather peaceful season, earning just 6 yellow cards and 1 red throughout the season – breaking the stereotype of him being an aggressive player.
One of the best standing tacklers in the game, don’t expect a lot of changes in his attributes in this installment. Given his age however, don’t be surprised if his ratings start falling in a season or two in the Career Mode.

Isco’s rating is yet to be revealed, but you can expect a +1 bump in this year’s FIFA. The Spaniard featured in a total of 44 matches last season for Real Madrid and Spain, scoring 6 goals and bagging 11 assists.
Aged 23, Isco’s attributes are most likely to increase in the game as you would proceed and with a potential to rise up to 88. A great dribbler of the ball, all Isco needs is more playing time.

#7 Karim Benzema - 86
Karim Benzema might have been very close to moving to Arsenal this transfer window as several reports claimed, but the Frenchman seems to have decided to stay put at Real Madrid. With 26 goals and 15 assists for both Real Madrid and France, the 27-year old striker will certainly be hoping to work on his finishing this season.
Comparing his ratings from the previous installment, Benzema’s pace (+1) and dribbling (+1) attributes has seen an improvement, and as he edges towards the prime of his career.

#6 Gareth Bale - 87
The world’s most expensive player, Gareth Bale is rated at 87 in this year’s installment, and with a pace attribute of 94, the Welsh winger will definitely be one of the fastest sprinters in the game. His performance with the club was somewhat below par last season (in comparison to his debut season where his goals proved to be crucial in two cup finals) to his with 19 goals and 10 assists from 47 appearances.
In terms of his increment in ratings, Bale’s physical attributes has seen an upgrade.

#5 Luka Modric - 87
Luka Modric had a season he wouldn’t really want to remember. After sustaining a thigh injury in an international match against Italy, the Croatian midfield dynamo was out injured for three months. Without his presence in the middle for Real Madrid, the team’s struggle was quite apparent as they clearly missed his vision and ability to consistently deliver defence-splitting passes.
The Croatian started 30 games last season for both Real Madrid and the national team and picked up 4 assists and 1 goal in the process. And, it’s not very surprising to see that not much has changed in his attributes in this latest FIFA installment.

#4 Sergio Ramos - 87
Sergio Ramos continues to be one of the best defenders in the world right now, and with his ability to come up with goals on a consistent basis, the current Real Madrid captain has an edge over several central defenders.
The Champions League hero for Real Madrid enjoyed a rather dull campaign with the team last season as it clearly reflects on his ratings. Nevertheless, he will continue to be one of the best defenders in the game.

#3 Toni Kroos - 87
One of the best passers in the game right now, German midfield star Toni Kroos had a solid season with Real Madrid which might not reflect on his numbers. The former Bayern Munich midfielder provided 15 assists this season while scoring 5 in the process.
Keep that in mind that Kroos was playing way deeper than his usual position and was the primary anchor sitting in front of the Madrid defence with midfield main-man Luka Modric out injured for a major portion of the season.
Despite a major cutback on his defensive attribute, an upgrade of +2 points in overall ratings makes Kroos one of the best midfielders in the game.

#2 James Rodriguez - 87
Often touted as a future Ballon d'Or winner, Colombian star James Rodriguez had a pretty good start at Real Madrid having completed his €80-million move from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
Looking back at his statistics for the 2014-15 season, James racked up 20 assists while scoring 24 himself for both Real Madrid and Colombia, proving his ability to make a difference in a game when most needed.
A set-piece specialist and someone with an eye for the goal, James would definitely be on our ‘Must Buy Players’ list. And, to think about it, he is just 24.

#1 Cristiano Ronaldo - 93
Only second to Barcelona’s Lionel Messi in the game, Cristiano Ronaldo’s rating in this year’s has received a bump of 1 point in this installment. The Portuguese star continues to be the world’s most popular player and despite a trophyless season with Real Madrid last season, Ronaldo’s personal performance with the ball has been anything but average.
Having scored 61 goals (his personal best) from 56 appearances in the 2014/15 season for both Real Madrid and Portugal, Ronaldo broke through several of his own personal accolades, including his 300th goal for Real Madrid in all competitions. The Portuguese also equalled Messi’s La Liga record of having scored the highest number of hat-tricks in a single season with a total of 8 hat-tricks.
He was also the Pichichi winner with 48 goals in La Liga as he bagged the award for the second consecutive season. With 10 goals in the Champions League, he was also the joint top scorer in that tournament.
Quite the season for Ronaldo there, but if only we could have said the same for Real Madrid.
