#1 Arsenal reopen Morata talks

Arsenal have reportedly reopened talks with Real Madrid for the signing of Alvaro Morata. Gunners’ chiefs have reportedly flown to Spain in hope of striking a deal before the start of World Cup next month.

Real Madrid want a buy-back clause in Morata’s move to the Emirates which may make the deal difficult to materialise, but the North London club are confident of securing the move in wake of providing guaranteed first team football to the young striker.

Arsene Wenger, who is a well known admirer of the 21-year-old Spaniard, tried to sign him during the Jaunuary transfer window. Signing a striker remains Arsenal’s top priority this summer and are also said to be interested in signing Morata’s Real team-mate Karim Benzema.

#2 Manchester United deny Atletico\'s Miranda deal

Manchester United have squashed speculations that they have triggered Atletico Madrid centre back Miranda’s £24million release clause. Earleir this week, several sources in Spain claimed that the Reds Devils were on the verge of signing the 29-year-old.

Miranda played a huge role in Atletico’s most successful season in years, where Diego Simeone’s side won the La Liga title and reached the final of Champions League. The Brazilian defender is also said to be a target for Barcelona this summer.

#3 Mauricio Pochettino to make Adam Lallana his first signing for Tottenham

Mauricio Pochettino has been appointed Tottenham’s new manager on a five-year deal, who is now seeking to reunite with his former skipper Adam Lallana. The England International is said to be targeted by a host of Premier League clubs, while Liverpool remain in pole position to land the winger.

However, Tottenham believe Pochettino’s relationship with Lallana with help them lure the 26-year-old to White Hart Lane. Liverpool are reportedly willing to pay £20 million for the talented winger, but Southampton are reluctant to budge from their £25 million price tag on Lallana.

Both Liverpool and Tottenham will have to speed up their efforts to sign Lallana before the World Cup or expect the transfer fee to rise if the Saints’ skipper displays impressive performances for the Three Lions next month in Brazil.

#4 Chelsea in talks for Filipe Luis

Chelsea have resumed talks with Atletico Madrid for the signing of highly rated left back Filipe Luis. The Brazilian defender has three more years on his contract at the Spanish capital but Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho hopes to bring him to Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Blues are seeking a replacement for the departing left back Ashley Cole, who is set to leave the West London club for free next month. Southampton’s Luke Shaw and Sevilla’s Alberto Moreno have been understood as alternatives if the deal for Felipe Luis fails to materialise.

The 28-year-old is one of four Atletico Madrid players linked with a move to Chelsea, with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois expected to end his succesful loan spell in Spain as well as midfielder Tiago and star striker Diego Costa also tipped to join the Premier League giants this transfer window.

#5 Real Madrid to make 60m move for Man City\'s Sergio Aguero

Manchester City star striker Sergio Aguero has emerged as top transfer target for Real Madrid. The newly crowned Champions League winners are keen to make attacking reinforcements for next season with doubts over Karim Benzemas future at the Bernabeu.
