A look at top 5 most anticipated football speculations from today's newspapers.
#1 Chelsea consider Dzeko swoop
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will consider to price Eden Dzeko away from Manchester City if their proposed deal for Atletico Madrid's Diego Costa falls apart.
The Blues' are confident of landing the £31.5 million Brazilian born striker and are also targeting Bayern Munich's top scorer this season - Mario Mandzukic - who has also attracted interested from Arsenal. However, Jose Mourinho has opened door to sign the 28-year-old Bosnian striker by claiming Eden Dzeko as 'player of the season' ahead of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
Dzeko, who has scored 16 goals so far this season, has been a star performer for Manchester City this term despite being prefered as third striker by Manuel Pellegrini.
#2 Van Gaal wants Strootman to join him at Man United
Dutch national team coach Louis van Gaal, who is expected to be named as David Moyes' permanent predecessor at Manchester United, wants Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman to join him at Manchester United this summer.
The 24-year-old is currently sidelined with knee injury and will miss next month's World Cup in Brazil. Man United targeted Strootman last summer but the Dutch International decided to opt for a move to the Serie A.
Van Gaal has been in regular contact with the midfielder and the former Bayern Munich boss believes it will be much easier to persuade £30 million tagged Strootman to Old Trafford than to land German International Toni Kroos.
#3 Liverpool close in on 20m Lallana
Liverpool are expected to seal a £20 million deal for Southampton skipper Adam Lallana as soon as next week. The 26-year-old will celebrate his World Cup call up for England with a dream move to the Anfield.
Lallana was believed to be targeted by a host of Premier League clubs after an impressive campaign with the Saints. The winger is expected to be first of several Liverpool signings this summer as Brendan Rodgers looks to strenghten his squad with Champions League football awaiting next season.
Liverpool are keen to bolster their defensive options after a disappointing season by their defenders, which has apperently cost them their first Premier League title in 24 years.
#4 Evra to join Vidic at Inter Milan
Manchester United veteran defender Patrice Evra will follow Vidic's footsteps and join him at Inter Milan. It has already been confirmed that Manchester United club captain Nemanja Vidic will join the Serie A club next season and reports suggest that Evra is set to reunite with the Serbian at San Siro.
The 32-year-old left back is out of contract after Red Devils' final game of the season against Southampton and if rumours are to be believed, a deal has already been agreed with the French International and the Italian giants.
Meanwhile, Man United are expected to replace the departing full back with young England International Luke Shaw in a £27 million move from Southampton.
#5 Real Madrid to make 60m bid for Suarez
Real Madrid are ready to make a £60 million move for Liverpool star striker Luis Suarez. The PFA Player of the Year is said to be Los Blancos' top transfer target for next season and are expected to make a bid before the World Cup.
Suarez, who has been instrumental for Liverpool this season, recently signed a new long term contract but has made little difference for the clubs interested to sign him. Real Madrid remain in pole postion to land the Uruguayan striker, who are ready to push over £60 million to get thier man.
Failing to win this season's Premier League title has put Suarez's Liverpool's future in doubt as speculations emerge that Real Madrid may offer striker Karim Benzema plus cash to bring the former Ajaz star to the Spanish capital.
