With just 1 week left for the January transfer window, teams across Europe are scampering to complete deals that would help them in the second half of the season. Although, the mid-season transfer window may not be the best time to buy players due to the inflated prices, it can also work if a club manages to sign a player that can propel the team to the top of the table.Plenty of rumours across the European league were floating about today. Let’s take a look at all the major ones:
#1 Serie A
Napoli are keen on signing on-loan versatile Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah on a permanent deal. According the Football Italia, the 21-year-old, who can also double up as a defender, will be a permanent member of the Partenopei. He has been going through some personal trouble as his mother recently passed away.
AC Milan forward Stephen El Sharaawy has been linked with a move to Serie A rivals Roma, but Football Italia reported the Milan CEO saying that no agreement is in place between the two teams. “El Shaarawy cannot be considered absolutely a Roma player. We still have eight days the transaction and we hope to succeed,” Galliani told Premium Sport.
