#1 Serie A
- According to the Daily Star, Juventus have already approached Manchester United in a move to sign midfielder Ander Herrera. The Italian champions are desperate to strengthen their midfield in the transfer window and have now turned to Herrera after attempts to sign Gundogan failed to materialize. However, United would only consider selling the 26-year-old if the Serie A giants bid in the region of £40m.
- Roma are set to officially announce the signing of Gerson from Brazilian outfit Fluminense. The 18-year-old has reportedly signed a five-year deal with the Giallorossi in a deal that cost them around €17 million according to La Gazzetta dello sport.
- Lazio have completed the signing of Serbian defender Milan Bisevac from Lyon after the player passed a medical yesterday. The club released a brief statement confirming it and said, “Milan Bisevac is a new Biancocelesti player.”

- According to Turkish outlet Milliyet, Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is considering a bid for Fiorentina striker Mario Gomez, who is currently on loan at Besiktas, to play second fiddle to Karim Benzema. - FC Mainz have completed the signing of Karim Onisiwo on a free transfer according to soccernet.com. The Austrian-born forward penned the three-and-a-half-year contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2019.
