Zlatan Ibrahimovic is setting standards of being outspoken on a daily basis, but in a fashion that people often find charming. Charming could probably be an understatement. The internet loves the Paris Saint-Germain striker, and he knows it very well. And, to be quite frank, his personality is what makes him the most entertaining footballer in this modern age.Just like Zlatan himself, his Twitter account @ibra_official is a great source of entertainment. Here are some of the great tweets that we have had the luck to witness..
#1 That explains Matuidi\'s goal
Blaise Matuidi was in the news last year for his first ever goal for France, but it was mostly because of the way it was scored. Playing against the Netherlands, Matuidi scored this brilliant volley as he led the team in a 2-0 win.
Ironically, even before Zlatan had tweeted about it, Matuidi was sure the Swedish striker will be teasing him about the goal, which he did.
#2 Zlatan is just a human
When asked if he was just a human, here is what Mr. Zlatan had to say.
…
And, as expected, it didn’t take the internet long enough to come up with this.
#3 His banter with Eden Hazard
Matuidi isn’t the only footballer who was trolled by the Swedish striker. Ask Chelsea’s Eden Hazard..
Here’s a little context: Zlatan was in the news for his weak French during his award acceptance speech last season when he was nominated as the Ligue 1 Player of the Season. Clips of his teammates, Salvatore Sirigu and Marco Veratti struggling to hold their laughter at the event went viral as well.
But, Ibra wasn’t taking any of that.
#4 How to do the Zlatan?
Another great product that came out of the #DaretoZlatan Q&A session on Twitter: the breakdown of how his he goes about scoring his goals.
#5 The Zlatan way to score tap-ins
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a great goalscorer, and when I say great, I am strictly talking about the quality of the goals. With his impeccable control over the ball, the Swedish skipper has been tormenting defenders and goalkeepers for years now.
So, when asked about scoring tap-ins, Zlatan replied saying he definitely does that, but only when he is 33 yards away and with his heel.
Well, we cannot agree more..
#6 \"Zlatan makes grown men cry\"
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is known for his no-nonsense attitude and has never resisted himself from expressing his discontent, whoever it may be. Now making grown men cry could be a be a bit far-fetched, but his sore relationship with former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola is known to most of us.
In his autobiography I am Zlatan, the Swedish striker had written.. “Then Guardiola started his philosopher thing. I was barely listening. Why would I? It was advanced bullshit about blood, sweat and tears, that kind of stuff.” Well, Zlatan has no time for tears.
#7 Hey, Twittter.. are you listening?
For someone as outspoken of a person that Zlatan is, it would take more than 140 characters.
#8 The art of surprising
Zlatan doesn’t do auditions, but you aren’t Zlatan, so you can’t really say the same. But, here’s what you could do. Put on the Zlatan mask, and build your career from there on.
#9 The two steps to success
“How can one be successful?” asked a fan on Twitter. This is what Zlatan had to say.
#10 Zlatan is a magician
Ibracadabra for you!
But, we ask again? Is Zlatan insane? Here’s what the PSG striker had to say.
