After the huge success of Batman:Arkham Asylum & Batman:Arkham City,Developer Rocksteady were all set to end this critically apperciated trilogy by introducing various new game elements as well as a much more personal narrative. One of the major as well as controversial inclusion was the “Batmobile”.
The very own personal tank that Batman uses to make sure he is all set to perform vehicular combat as well if needed. The batmobile was suppose to add a pint of variety into the game but it was injected far too much causing the game to be more about vehicular combat and less about fist fights.
Not only that, the story failed to carry forward the charm of its predecessor and ended up being just an average one. Batman:Arkham Knight is by no means a bad game, it’s a great game filled with some iconic set pieces and gorgeous graphics. The only issue was that the developers failed to meet the hype that surrounded this game for so long.

#4 Dragon Ball Z : Xenoverse
A lot of promises were made by developer namco bandai for the latest installment in the medicore dragon ball z franchise with the announcement of “Dragon Ball Z :Xenoverse”. The game added a social HUB feature which was pretty good, only when it worked.
The game suffers from terrible connection issues and frequent disconnections. For a game that relies so much on its online mode,It was a shame to see how garbage the servers were in the initial two weeks.
The game was decent to play and with the addition of new creations tools. Players had an option to create their very own fighter and take him through the epic timeline of Dragon Ball Z. Unfortunately, The gameplay was mediocre as well as repetitive. The graphics were average as well.
Nothing about this game felt like it was providing a next gen experience.
#3 The Order 1886
I am pretty sure that the Order 1886 was a huge disappointment to almost everyone. The length of the game was often mocked by the internet but that was not the main reason that this game ended up in my disappointing list.
The main reason was the fact that the game had such potential to be a groundbreaking or a system seller but it failed to deliver a decent experience. If only Ready At Dawn did their basics right, this game could have been more than just an internet joke.
The story of the game was unique as well as intriguing but fell flat towards the end.The gameplay was nothing special, apart from a few cool weapons you really can’t distinguish this game from any other third person shooter. Apart from all the flaws, the game was beautiful to look at.
Each and every object was filled with details making the world look believable. The voice acting was top notch. It's a shame that the developers failed to make this game more than just a tech demo for the Playstation 4.
#2 Battlefield:Hardline
Battlefield Hardline was nothing but a 60$ expansion pack to battlefield 4. I said it.The campaign of the game was filled with uninspired segments and the gameplay felt a little bit too easy.Being a cop and showing your badge every now and then is not at all fun.
The campaign boasts a mediocre story with uninteresting cast of characters. The multiplayer of the game lacked ideas and tried to do too much just to be called a “Battlefield” game. Nothing about this game felt new or unique, everything feels similar to battlefield 4.
Let’s just hope that DICE do not rush things with the next installment and deliver us a complete battlefield game.
#1 Evolve
This game is probably the reason why I wanted to write this article in the first place. Evolve is nothing but a cash grab and it comes from a company whom I respected a lot.The game starts feeling repetitive after give or take 5 matches.
Nothing about this game deserves the price it asks for. It’s a multiplayer only game which lacks varied game modes.’
All the game modes feel too similar to each other. The microtransactions are nothing but a joke. The game is fun to play no doubt, but when you realize that you paid full price for a game that doesn’t even feel complete, you will start hating 2k games just like i did.
As angry joe would say “You done f**ked it up*.
