Real life brothers making it into the same promotion is not a rare sight in the professional wrestling business. Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt are doing the same just now but what makes them stand out from the rest is the different path they are taking. In usual cases, blood relationship ends up being in a tag team or a heated feud while Bo and Bray has kept away from both these possibilities. With both superstars seems to be struggling at the moment, WWE could bank in on the real life relationship to save their prices assets. The recent interview that Bo gave suggested the two characters would cross paths at one point or the other, so here is a look at the questions that needs to be answered before the plan could be laid out on paper.
#4 Why?
One reason – They are real life brothers.
Bray and Bo was born into a wrestling family that gave some big names to the business. Wrestling is in their blood and despite not being the perfect WWE prototype, both of them has proved that they can keep the crowd captive with both the microphone and the in ring work.
They grew up training together and would know eachother like the back of their hands. This takes the chemistry to sky high levels ensuring that the in ring action wouldn’t disappoint anyone.
As far as the microphone work is concerned, both the superstars have mastered the skill of handling the audience and evoking emotions in them, all through the electronic device that they hold in their hand.
Two wrestlers who excel individually cannot be kept apart and the real life situation gives the company some extra leverage as well.
#3 When?
The sooner it could come, the better it could be for both of them.
Bray right now is having a program with Chris Jericho and despite having a good television time it has failed to flourish. The feud that he had with John Cena has also left Bray desperate for some good spotlight and a refreshed approach.
Bo on the other hand seemed to be having a good run with his undefeated streak only to crash and burn when he ran into R-Truth. The loss has left a lot of questions on where Bo would go next as he has all the chances of ending up like just another midcarder.
After Bray finishes his feud with Jericho, WWE could open this book and read out the first chapter so that they will have a good feud heading into Survivor Series.
#2 How?
Now, this is the most important question that needs to be answered if the feud is to be materialized. Despite having the chemistry and good time to pull off a feud, the company has messed up things often which make the “how” factor important.
One thing that WWE should do before in order to start the feud will be to break Kayfabe. They need to make the real blood relation part of the angle and let Bo know that Bray is his brother. It could sound a big cheesy right now, but Undertaker and Kane also sounded cheesy when they started a similar angle.
After establishing the obvious, WWE could just make an angle where Bray would be trying to lure in his real blood brother to join the Family. It’s an angle that they had back in NXT and to make it more effective WWE could make Luke Harper and Erick Rowan play a bigger role.
Instead of pursuing his brother through his usual path, Bray could take up a no – violence policy which in turn would frustrate Rowan and Harper.
They could accuse their leader of changing due to his blind pursuit and thus exposing the cracks they have in the relationship.
Bray can then slowly turn into a face with Harper and Rowan attacking him while Bo would come to his rescue. It could be the same heel – face tag team angle for some time with both Bo and Bray reigning over the tag division and be back in relevance.
After a short stint, they could break the team up with the usual bad blood angle and letting the two be back into the singles scene.
#1 The Effect
First of all what it does is give Bray and Bo some time off their current gimmick to try something fresh. It helps both the superstars to evolve their character beyond their boundaries as it will be a hop between face and heel alignments.
Along with this, the tag team division would be boosted by the addition of the Rotunda brothers, who has a lot experience of teaming up in the developmental circuit.
Those alongside Usos, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper would make intriguing division which WWE could rely on at all situations. ,
And once the tag run is done with some title time, Bray and Bo could be pushed back with great momentum now that they have hit the refresh button instead of making it look repetitive.
