They say records are meant to be broken. However, there are certain milestones that present themselves as challenges.Star Sports Pro Kabaddi has seen its share of performances that are unlikely to be bettered any time soon. Let’s take a look at some records that will serve as the benchmarks for years to come. Here are 5 records that are unlikely to be ever broken in the league:

#1 Most points in a match 24 (Kashiling Adake)

Back in 2015, Dabang Delhi and the Telugu Titans were involved in one of the most exhilarating matches in the league's history. One particular man had a day to remember. Delhi’s main man, Kashiling Adake produced what will go down in history as one of the bravest performances in the tournament.

The raider from Sangli amassed a massive 24 points to his name that day - a record for a single game. The lanky attacker left no stone unturned as he turned on the style for the fans in the capital city. Much to his and Delhi’s dismay though, they ended up drawing the match 45-45.

#2 Most tackle points in a match - 10 (Surender Nada)

Securing a super 10 isn’t that rare when it comes to raiding. But, scoring 10 tackle points is nearly impossible. U Mumba’s Surender Nada did exactly that against the Patna Pirates last season. Playing against a young but talented Patna side, Nada was in his zone and executed the ankle hold to perfection on numerous occasions. He was also part of a super tackle in that very game. The match ended 35-18 in Mumbai’s favour. It could be awhile till a defender manages to put in a similar performance.

#3 Most successful raids in a season (123) (Rahul Chaudhari & Anup Kumar)

The first season of Pro Kabaddi was lit up by some immaculate individual performances. Agile, quick and powerful, Rahul Chaudhari amassed a massive 123 successful raids in season 1, joint top with U Mumba's captain Anup Kumar. But the startling fact is that he did it in fewer matches than Anup.

The Titans couldn’t make it to the semi finals, but the 22-year-old's performance caught the eye of millions. He averaged 8.78 raid points per match, much higher than Anup’s 7.68. In contrast, the most successful raids in the second season were 87 by Dabang Delhi's Kashiling Adake. Hence, this record by Rahul and Anup is unlikely to be broken any time soon.

#4 First ever red card in Pro Kabaddi history (Amit Rathi)

Amit Rathi now holds the distinction of being the 1st player in Pro Kabaddi history to receive a red card, a record no player would envy. Playing against the Telugu Titans, it was Bangalore’s turn to raid, and so Rathi entered the opposition half looking calm and composed.

A combination of some swift movements helped him ease past Rahul Chaudhari, who attempted an ankle hold on Amit. While Rahul was still latched on to him, Amit crawled back to the mid line to earn his side a point. While he did that, he lodged a cheap kick on Rahul’s face in an attempt to break free. He deservedly received his marching orders from the referee.

#5 Most points in a raid 6 (Pardeep Narwal)

If one had to pick a single moment from Patna Pirates' win over Telugu Titans in Season 3, it has to be young Pardeep Narwal's 6-point raid. The match started off with both teams feeling each other out. But, a certain 18-year-old decided to go full throttle. Pardeep Narwal pulled off a spectacular raid to earn his side a whopping 6 points from one single raid.

Faced with a 1 vs 4 situation, Pardeep attempted a shirt touch on the defender at the left corner. That move coerced the other 3 Titans defenders to pounce on Narwal. But, Patna’s number 9 exhibited some quick thinking to wriggle his way past all the four defenders and in the process, earned his team 2 extra points courtesy of an all out.
