Blake had a good outing against the MavericksDay two of the NBA 2015-16 season was a compact treat with three action-packed games – the Grizzlies against the Pacers, the Hawks against the Knicks and the Mavericks against the Clippers. Here, we take a look at the top 5 plays amongst all three games:
#5 Blake griffin takes flight as always
When Dallas came into the town, there was too much attention on DeAndre Jordan. But Blake stole the show and finished strong with 26 points and 10 rebounds. He propelled Clippers to a win versus the Mavericks. Although he was criticized for mid-range shooting, he has a much-improved shot and looked very confident in shooting it. In this play he takes off to put back the slam to complete the top plays of the night.

#4 It was another day at office for Marc Gasol
Marc Gasol had a better game than the Memphis opener, he played better versus the Pacers. He is one of the better passing big men and is amazing in pick and roll plays. Gasol had 20 points and 8 rebounds to go with 3 assists. Marc had a solid game and was in tune with Mike Conley to help Memphis top the pacers. We note his pick and roll to the basket, which he finishes with an amazing dunk.
#3 Kristaps Porzingis proves his worth
The highly criticized rookie Porzingis had a good start to his first season at Madison Square Garden. He played solid defense and his presence was felt in the game. He had 10 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals with a block. But most of all, he knows how to put on a show. This will keep the Knicks fan happy as they love high-flying basketball. In this particular play, Porzingis makes the steal, runs the transition play and spins on the defender to rise and slam it home.
#2 Jerian Grant makes solid debut
Jerian Grant, the rookie out of Notre Dame had a solid debut to his rookie season. He came from the bench and ran point for the Knicks. He had 5 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in 29 minutes of gameplay. He shot 50% from the field and the points tally is going to increase given the fact that he is a high scoring guard while he was in college. But for now he had an absolutely brilliant drive to the basket and finished with contact.
#1 Jeff Teague makes big plays in transition
Jeff Teague played an all-round good game versus the Knicks, he finished with 23 points and 8 assists for the night. Teague had several transition plays and strong finishes at the rim. The steal and dunk, the half court offensive drive to the hoop – he was on song tonight. We pick the play where he put the defender on skates and took it all the way through traffic.
