Sushil Kumar is the only Indian to win medals in consecutive Olympic games. The ace wrestler won a bronze in Beijing and improved his performance in London to claim silver in the 66kg category. Kumar is a recipient of the Arjuna award and theRajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award. He has also been recommended for the Padma Bhushan award by the sports ministry this year.

Kumars wife Savi gave birth to twin sons in Januarylast year.Sushil said: "I am very happy. God has been very kind to me. Two Olympic medals and now twins... I couldn't have asked for more. Will work harder now for the Rio Olympics."

5-time World Champion and Olympic bronze medallist Mary Kom is one of the most fierce competitors in the ring. The Manipur born Kom made a strong comeback last year to win her first Asian Games gold medal. A film on the life of Mary Kom also released last year starring Priyanka Chopra in the lead role.

The boxer married K. Onler Kom in 2005 and has twin sons.
