With the 2013-14 Premier League season preparing to bow out in just over a month's time, clubs will already be eyeing potential targets for next season. Here we look at the top 5 most anticipated transfer rumours from today's newspapers.
#5 Toni Kroos wants Manchester United move
According to reports, Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has told his team-mates that he wants a switch to Premier League club Manchester United.
The English giants are a known admirer of the German International and are said to be prepared to offer a stunning club record bid of £40 million for the midfielder. Kroos, whose contract at Bayern expires in 2015, has been stalling his contract negotiations due to an unconvincing wage offer.
David Moyes is expected to make an overhaul at the club this summer transfer market with Kroos considered as a top target. The 24-year-old could be offered a staggering £200,000-a-week to join the struggling Manchester United side.
#4 Real Madrid to battle PSG for Chelsea duo
Real Madrid may consider challenging French outfit Paris Saint Germain to capture the signature of Chelsea attacking pair Eden Hazard and Oscar.
According to speculation in recent weeks, French champions PSG are willing to offer Chelsea £90 million for the pair despite Blues' boss Jose Mourinho claiming that the club will not sell their prized assets for anything less than £300 million.
Spanish newsapaper AS also claim that the Spanish giants could offer an extraordinary price to lure Hazard and Oscar to Madrid.
#3 Nani to leave Manchester United
Manchester United winger Luis Nani's agent has claimed that the Portuguese International will leave the club this summer.
Despite signing a new five-year contract with the English giants last September, Nani has been handed only five league starts this season. The player's agent insists that the 27-year-old needs more playing time and a move to Italy's Serie A is most likely.
“Nani is a very important player and at this time the only thing I can say is that he is likely to leave Manchester”, said the winger's agent.
"The problem for Fiorentina and other Italian clubs is the player’s salary. But we will evaluate all bids. Fiorentina have to speak with Manchester United about Anderson [who is on loan from the Reds to the Florence club] and maybe there will be an opportunity to talk about Nani, too.”
#2 Chelsea target Galatasaray playmaker Wesley Sneijder
Manchester United have had a bid rejected by Galatasaray for the transfer of Dutch playmaker Sneijder last summer.
"Sneijder received an indirect offer from Manchester United last summer but it was not accepted." Turkish club's Sportive Coordinator Bülent Tulun confirmed.
And with reports emerging that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will enter the summer transfer market to reunite with his former Inter Milan player, Galatsaray are determined to not allow the 29-year-old leave for less than £12.5m.
"If Chelsea were to offer a deal worth over €15 million (£12.5m) I would give Sneijder permission to leave if that's what he wanted."
#1 Arsenal eye PSG\'s Marco Veratti
According to reports in Italy, Paris Saint Germain midfielder Marco Veratti has emerged as a potential summer target for Arsenal.
Despite being a regular starter for Laurent Blanc's side, Veratti has failed to scored to any goal for the French giants in over 50 appearances. Rumours circulate the mega-rich club is ready to cash in on the sale of the 21-year-old with Arsenal one of the European clubs interested.
TuttoMercato report that the North London club is willing to offer £17million for the midfielder as Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger sees Veratti as a replacement for former Everton star Mikel Arteta.
