#1 Liverpool eye Chelsea\'s Ashley Cole
Chelsea left back Ashley Cole has emerged as a shock target for rivals Liverpool. Cole, who is out of contract this summer, was in tears at the end of Blues' final home against Norwich last week.
The 33-year-old is expected to leave Chelsea at the end of the season but could stay in the Premier League with Liverpool interested. A move to a foreign club could also be a favorable choice for the England International with MLS outfit LA Galaxy also keen.
Meanwhile, Chelsea want Sevilla's 21-year-old left back Alberto Moreno to replace the departing Ashley Cole from next season.
#2 Javi Martinez could leave Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich midfielder Javi Martinez could be heading to the Premier League next season with amid reports suggesting that the former Atletico Bilbao star is dissatisfied with life under Pep Guardiola.
The 25-year-old played a key role for Jupp Heynckes' treble winning side last season but has failed to be a regular starter under the new Bayern boss. Martinez has made fewer Bundesliga starts this season than last term and has also been played out of position on several occasions.
Arsenal and Manchester City are both keen to sign the £33 million valued Spanish midfielder but could face serious competition from La Liga giants Barcelona.
#3 Shinji Kagawa to stay at Manchester United
Manchester United playmaker Shinji Kagawa will not leave the Premier League club this summer, according to the player's agent. The 25-year-old has failed to impress since his move from Borussia Dortmund in 2012 and is believed to be targeted by Italian club Napoli.
Kagawa has been handed only 13 league starts this season and could depart Old Trafford this summer as Manchester United look to overhaul their squad for next season. However, the playmaker's agent claims that Kagawa will not be leaving this summer.
"Has Benitez made contact with Kagawa? These are just rumours He is not unhappy at Manchester United, so there's no reason to talk about him departing to another club", said Kagawa's agent.
#4 Marco Reus coy on Dortmund future
Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus has hinted that he may leave the Bundesliga giants this summer to win more trophies. The German International is said to Manchester United top target when the transfer window reopens after the end of the season.
Reus said: "Every player only has one career and wants to get the best out of it.
"You have to decide what's best for you. We'll see about that."
The 25-year-old, who has been a star performer for Dortmund this season, is said to have a £35 million release clause in his contract which activates this summer. Reus is yet to win a trophy with Borussia Dortmund.
#5 Lionel Messi wants Sergio Aguero at Barcelona
Lionel Messi has requested Barcelona to sign Manchester City star striker Sergio Aguero as he negotiates a new contract with the Spanish giants.
The 26-year-old is close to agreeing a new contract but has asked Barcelona to move for his Argentine team-mate and also offer goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto a contract renewal.
Messi's father Jorge reportedly met Barcelona’s general director Antoni Rossich and economic vice-president Javier Faus on Tuesday, when it is believed the signing of Aguero was raised. However, it raises the question of how Messi and Aguero could play alongside Brazil star Neymar, who also prefers to opt similar position.
