In super form HernandezThe January transfer window is nearing its end with only three days left for players to move in Spain and England. January windows are known to be exciting as teams can always do with a player or two who can decide a title race or a relegation battle. Some clubs will also be looking to cut a deal on pre-contract basis before other teams pounce in the summer. The mid season window is probably very tricky but those who play their cards right can get the best out of it. Here are the latest rumours from the major leagues across Europe.

#1 Serie A

Ever Banega set for Inter switch?

-Inter are said to have agreed personal terms with Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega. Banega joined Seviila from Valencia in the summer of 2014 but is set to join Inter according to Gazzetta dello Sport, although it is unclear whether it will happen now or at the end of the season

-Real Madrid’s Nacho is apparently being considered by Napoli. The defender has struggled for game time at the Bernabeu and might be looking for a move away from the club, although recently Real Madrid are reported to have finished all activity in the transfer window

-Chelsea are looking at Italian national team coach Antonio Conte as the long term replacement for Jose Mourinho after Interim manager Guus Hiddink’s term comes to an end. Conte was previously at Juventus leading them to win the league unbeaten

#2 La Liga

Happy to stay at Atletico

-Madrid’s Dani Carvajal is edging closer to a move to Chelsea according to reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes. The Spanish right back has been second choice to Brazilian Danilo this term and is looking for a move away. The blues are working hard to finalize the deal

-Atletico Madrid’s heartbeat Griezmann responded to PSG links saying he is flattered but is happy at Atletico. The hit man is Atletico’s top scorer as they currently are level on points with Barca at the top of La Liga. Chelsea are also keeping tabs on the 24 year old but the Frenchman is content with life at La liga at the moment.

-Barcelona are set to face competition from Manchester United to sign PSG youngster Marquinhos. According to the Daily Express the brazilian is unsettled at Paris due to a lack of game time. Louis Van Gaal wants to bolster his squad before the window closes but will have to battle it out with the Catalans

#3 Premier League

Musa a target for Leicester and Man United

-According to The Times Liverpool have made Javier Hernandez their top priority. The Mexican has been in fine from this season with several English clubs keen to bring him back to the Premier League. But apparently Liverpool are currently frontrunners for his signing.

-Manchester united have joined the race to sign forward Ahmed Musa from CSKA Moscow according to The Times. Leicester among others are also interested in the player who is set to cost around 19 million pounds.

-Chelsea are lining up a shock move for Valencia Defender Aymen Abdnennour. This one also coming from The TImes reports that the 26 year old is a target in this window who arrived only last summer but has failed to make an impact in Spain

#4 Rest of Europe

Podoloski next to China?

-There seems to be trend happening recently of Chinese clubs bidding for Europe’s top talent and according to reports from Bild, Galatasaray forward Podolski has been offered 9 million Euros by a Chinese Super League club for a three year deal.

-Bayern Munich is set face an exodus of players as Robben, Lewandowski and Benatia are all set to leave the club in the summer with Higuain and Reus marked as replacements. Fichajes.net reports that Benatia and Robben are set for moves away after losing their place in the first team.

-And finally we have another Bale rumour and this time it’s PSG. Accroding to the Daily Star the French giants are keen on the winger after he recently stated he wanted Rafa Benitez to stay. Although, it is unlikely to happen in this window.
