Pato to return to Milan?

The transfer mill is expected to be the same this time around with many seeking reinforcements and many seeking a new beginning. There has been a buzz around many players and clubs, with players seeking moves away from their respective clubs for more than a single reason. Nonetheless, the January window is poised to give us some interesting news. Here are the transfer news for the day.

#1 Serie A

Pato to return to Milan?

Alexandre Pato's recent visit to Milan has ignited speculation that he is open to a return to his former club. According to Sky Italia, the Brazilian is open to a move back to the Rossoneri where he had a injury hit spell last time around.

Inter and Juventus have set their sights on an unsettled Toni Kroos. The German international, who moved to Real Madrid from Bayern Munich in 2014 is reportedly unsettled under new manager Rafa Benitez and wants a move away from Spain, according to Tuttosport.

Watford are ready to finalise a loan move for Roma's Paraguayan winger Juan Manuel Iturbe according to reports from Italy. The winger will move on loan to Watford with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Catalans express interest in Coutinho

European champions FC Barcelona are being tipped to land Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho according to reports. The Express have reported that Barcelona boss Luis Enrique will step up his pursuit of the Brazilian in a plan to slot him behind the ‘MSN’ trio.

Mail Online have reported that Robert Lewandowski has left his door open to Real Madrid. The 27 year old is one of the best strikers in Europe and it will take a lot of money to bring him to the Spanish capital. However, Karim Benzema’s legal troubles may precipitate a move for the Polish striker.

Sources from Spain have also hinted that Atletico Madrid’s interest in bringing back Chelsea winger Pedro to Spain is genuine. The winger has not been in the best of form having only scored thrice in his 18 games for Chelsea.

#3 English Premier League

Arsenal set to launch Hernandez bid?

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is weighing up a shock move for former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez according to Talksport.com The Mexican left Old Trafford in the summer after German side Bayer Leverkusen shelled out around £7m for his signature. Hernandez has 18 goals in 21 appearances this season.

Chelsea striker Loic Remy is wanted by Spartak Moscow in January, claim reports in Russia. The French forward has made just 13 appearances for Chelsea this season and according to Izvesita, Spartak are willing to shell out £14.5million for Remy and the player is keen on a move away from Stamford Bridge.

According to Talksport.com, Liverpool are set to finalise the deal for Serbian starlet Marko Grujic. The deal is claimed to be worth around 4.3M euros and will see the player stay back on loan with his current team till the end of the season.

Carlo Ancelotti set to replace Guardiola

According to The Guardian, Bayern Munich are set to announce Carlo Ancelotti as a replacement to Pep Guardiola who is likely to step down as manager of the German champions. Bayern hope the news that Ancelotti, who has won the Champions league three times, has agreed to take over will soften the blow of losing Guardiola.

Fenerbahce are set to launch a January bid for Juventus defender Martin Caeceres according to Tuttosport. The defender has also attracted interest from Monaco who are waiting for his contract to run out in June 2016.

Galatasaray have been linked with a move for Bayer Leverkusen's experienced striker Stefan Kiessling. Eurosport Turkey state that the Istanbul giants are preparing a January move for the German International.
