WrestleMania 31: 5 Face/Heel turns that could happen at the pay-per-view

WWE’s build up for WrestleMania 31 clearly doesn’t belong to their long list of best works. There are plenty of flaws about the whole road but at the end of the day, what matters would be what happens at the pay-per-view.Vince McMahon will be looking to add in some surprise elements into the show and this includes some face or heel turns. There are a number of possible angles ready to happen at the show and pulling the right strings would help WWE in the post – WrestleMania period. So here is a look at some of that possible face or Heel turns that we could see at WrestleMania 31.

#6 Honorable Mention: John Cena

The John Cena heel turn belongs to the long wish list of WWE fans. It probably won’t happen at WrestleMania and might not even happen in the future as well, but then again, we fans have all the right to dream about things that will make WWE a better place.

#5 Triple H

Hunter has been the Authority heel for quite some time now. The whole power couple angle is getting a bit boring as things stand now and it would only be fitting to pull the plug on it. Triple H will be locking horns with Sting at the show and even though it’s not the ideal situation for a face turn, WWE could pull it off with a post – match handshake.

With the Authority angle out of his way, Triple H could easily switch to some new paths. He could pull off a feud against his wife for the control of WWE or can also spark one with his in-laws. All these possibilities will present the fans with fresh storylines rather than recycled old ones.

#4 Seth Rollins

Rollins is having a career high at the moment with his Mr. Money in the bank run but if Rollins needs to take his career to the next level, then he needs to turn face. The former Shield member is having a similar career graph to what Shawn Michaels had during his early days.

What made Michaels reach a different level was his face turn. Rollins might not be desperate for such a change at this point but it is sure to surprise the WWE Universe. He has proven his ability to play a baby face and letting him have a main event run after WrestleMania would be a money maker for the company.

#3 Natalya

Though Natalya technically hangs around with heels, she is considered to be a baby face by most of the fans. The marital problems that she has with Tyson Kidd are what make this possible. It is a relationship that could explode on a storyline level and if it happens at WrestleMania, it would go down as a proper turn from Natalya.

She will probably jump ship and tag alongside Cesaro leaving Kidd on the other side. A full-fledged heel turn will make Natalya a healthy addition to the divas division while we could see a mouthwatering feud between Kidd and Cesaro. There is a minute possibility of things happening the other way around, but Natalya turning is the most probable booking decision.

#2 Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler is one of those wrestlers who get cheered irrespective of being a bad guy or a good guy. His hard work and dedication in between the ropes makes it impossible to hate the guy but in the bigger picture, Ziggler has the potential to be a great heel.

He has proven this fact many times in the past and a fresh turn is what the show off needs, to rejuvenate his career. The much rumored feud between Ziggler and Bryan could happen as a result and Ziggler playing the bad guy would be more digestible than Bryan playing since the flying goat gets a lot of sympathy for his injuries.

#1 Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns will be having the night of his life at WrestleMania. it is either going to break him or make him but if WWE really wants to make him the successor of John Cena, he should turn heel at WrestleMania.

Why? Because Reigns needs Paul Heyman. We all know how bad Reigns is on the microphone. Heyman could cover up for this flaw in no time but for that, he needs to double cross Lesnar at the pay-per-view.

A double cross would instantly turn Lesnar face and in turn make Reigns the bad guy. With names like Daniel Bryan and John Cena in the main event scene, WWE would have no trouble selling the new Paul Heyman guy.
