3 possible twists Shawn Michaels can bring to WrestleMania XXX

Shawn Michaels is a name which always comes into the mind of the WWE Universe when they gear up for WrestleMania. And the reason for that is nothing other than the tag he earned himself for being the most consistent performer in the grand stage, Mr. WrestleMania.Throughout his career, Michaels gave some memorable matches at WrestleMania and even saw his illustrious run end at the same stage. Its been four years since that career vs. Streak match happened which ended Michaels career and still the fans believe that he still got one more match left in him.Though we might not be able to see that happen this year, Michaels could still deliver some major twists at WrestleMania XXX. So here is a look at the three possible things that WWE could do with Shawn Michaels.

#3 Screwing the Shield

The face turn of the Shield was something which was uncalled for. Everyone was expecting the Hounds of justice to break up and no one expected such a twist.

Since that it worked out well, the best way that WWE could book them will be to give a face run. Their current friction against the Authority will be the ideal way to drive it forward but Kane and Outlaws aren’t simply the big names that you would want to see getting tangled with the Shield.

With Triple H being involved with Daniel Bryan, the best prospect for the Shield will be Michaels. Bringing him in and costing the Shield their match at WrestleMania could pave the path for Michaels to develop as a heel character like Triple H who could elevate the Shield in a similar way that Triple H did to Daniel Bryan.

Michaels playing a heel will be something that no one would expect and it could play out to be a great storyline for everyone.

#2 Vince McMahons messenger

Triple H maybe in control of the company and the creative directions but Vince McMahon is still someone who has a lot of influence on the company. And seeing Triple H messing up every now and then, McMahon wouldn’t sit simply.

But instead of getting into the game himself, what McMahon could do is recruit Shawn Michaels to do the work for him. The first assignment that Michaels could get will be to make Triple H lose the match and let Bryan main event which is clearly the best thing for business.

This could lead to a power battle with Triple H and Vince McMahon with Shawn Michaels being the representative of Vince. Michaels wouldn’t have to step into the ring as well.

However, his star quality and microphone skills will lay the foundation for a solid post WrestleMania feud.

#1 Special guest referee for Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H match

The relation between Shawn Michaels is not a secret; Bryan is arguably “the” best protégé of Michaels and the relationship hasn’t been on good terms recently.

On the other hand, we have Triple H who is the best friend of Michaels. Thus putting Michaels into the mix between these two will arguably be more dramatic that anything that WWE produced in recent times.

It also opens the possibility of Bryan getting screwed and removes the possibility factor of the match which is still looming around. Michaels getting caught between his student and his best friend will be a classic WrestleMania moment and will add more emotions to the match which is already over ridden with the Yes movement.

Michaels could then call the fair and square ignoring Triple H’s orders which will open up for another feud with Triple H which could end up in a match at next WrestleMania and give us the moment we’ve been waiting for.
