However, all these are meant for muggles, as far as the wrestling fans are concerned, its all about thinking up fantasy angles and matches.And since imagination breaks all the boundaries, no one is going to stop us from making up fantasy matches between celebrities and WWE superstars. There are a lot of interesting scenarios that come up with the theme and since we are bound to seeing a plethora of celebrities in the WrestleMania period, there wouldnt be a more perfect time.Now, this piece is purely based on fantasy and will most likely bomb in a real life scenario. With that said, here is a look at the Celebrity vs. WWE Superstars fantasy matches.

#7 Honorable mention: Brock Lesnar vs. Justin Beiber

Why? Because most of us would love to see Justin Beiber get a beating from the Beast wouldn’t we?

#6 Honorable mention: John Cena vs. Hugh Jackman

This one might not seem exciting as the other matches in the list but since Wolverine had the guts to call out Cena for a wrestling match, this one deserves an honorable mention in the list.

#5 Robert Downey Jr. and Benedict Cumberbatch vs. Steve Austin and CM Punk

Forget about how the final match is going to turn out, just think about all those promos we would get to see with these four in the mix. Robert Downey Jr. and Benedict Cumberbatch are known for their stand out personalities in Hollywood and at the same time, are equally entertaining in real life.

It would be hard to win an argument against either of the two and teaming them together would make a solid team from the celebrity side. If there are two wrestlers who could match the attitude and aura of Robert and Cumberbatch, it has to be Punk and Austin. They are known for playing excellent rebels and will have no trouble sparking a never ending argument with their opponents.

#4 Emma Watson vs. Stephanie McMahon

Emma Watson and Stephanie McMahon’s onscreen character are two polar opposites. It is simply impossible to hate the Harry Porter girl due to a lot of reasons while it is also impossible to love Stephanie’s gimmick. This dynamic at the end of the day is what wrestling matches are built on.

To get the fact straight, Stephanie is a darling in real life. She does a lot of charity and is a perfect mother for her children. So this feud should only be viewed as a kayfabe affair. Emma suffering a loss in the squared circle is unimaginable so if this fantasy booking is to become a reality somewhere down the lane, it is going to be a predictable one.

#3 Big Show vs. Shaquille O\'Neal

At one point, there were a lot of buzz about Shaquille O’Neal wrestling a match in the WWE. The rumor never materialized into real life but it is still a bankable opportunity for Vince McMahon. Shaq has the athletic ability and the size to look intimidating in between the ropes and could turn out to be a good short term wrestler if provided with the right guidance.

As far as his opponent is concerned, the pick should go to Big Show. Big Show and Shaq have some history between them and if WWE could easily exploit the same for a storyline. The similar size of the two men will make the match an interesting outing as well.

#2 Ronda Rousey vs. AJ Lee/Paige

Ronda Rousey’s love for professional wrestling has been no secret. The UFC star loves being in attendance for the wrestling shows and would find it easy to make it in the business if she chooses to jump ships. It is an exciting prospect for the wrestling fans out there and the next obvious question will be about Rousey’s opponent.

AJ Lee and Paige have been the pillars of the Divas Division recently and should be first in line for a match against the UFC champion. The microphone work in both the scenarios promise to be a blistering affair and in the squared circle as well, we could witness a credible match instead of the toilet break matches that WWE book.

#1 Rock vs. Cristiano Ronaldo (Irina Shayk as guest referee)

To set the record straight, the whole Cristiano Ronaldo – Rock video game simulation that flooded the internet a few weeks back was the inspiration for this list. The idea of two well-known celebrities fighting it out over a girl seemed apt to be a wrestling storyline and it would have drawn millions in real life as well.

Having Irina Shayk as the special guest referee in the match could be its major attraction. A stipulation like this will make the match unpredictable and will have a lot of emotions invested in it as well due to various reasons.

Ronaldo might be no match for Rock in terms of wrestling ability, but then again, we are dealing with a fantasy world here, so dare to dream.
