WWE Fast Lane 2015 : 5 Superstars who will shine at the Pay-Per-View

With the bad taste of Royal Rumble still in the mouth, the WWE Universe has shifted their attention to the first ever Fast Lane. The pay-per-view will be bought from the FedEx Forum Arena in Memphis, Tennessee on February 22 and will have a lot of expectations to meet.Being the last stop before WrestleMania, the pay-per-view will also have the responsibility of clearing the path for all the big names. There are a lot of rumors about the potential matches that will be included in the show but till now, only one major addition has been made in the form of Rusev vs. John Cena. There is obviously a lot of pressure on the superstars to perform at the show and here is a look at the possible names that will break out under the spotlight.

#5 Paige

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Paige was pushed back into the crowd when she dropped the Divas Championship. However, the absence of AJ Lee in the division has forced the company to drag Paige back into the limelight and give her the deserved push.

The Brit will face off against Nikki Bella at the Fast Lane pay-per-view for the Divas Championship and it will be yet another opportunity for her to prove her worth. The Brie Bella factor will be looming around ringside for sure and this further makes the process of going over easier for Paige.

She might or might not win the match at the show, but one thing is for sure, Paige will be out there to show everyone that she has all the ammunition to fill the void left by AJ Lee.

#4 Roman Reings

Reigns was blamed for a lot of things that happened after he won the Royal Rumble. The segment that he had with Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar on the night that followed was a big step up but WWE needs to book Reigns stronger than that if he is to break out from the jeers.

Fast Lane just might be the place for that. There is no matches currently made for Reigns at the pay-per-view but he will likely face Big Show in a last man standing match. The other option is a multi-men match involving the likes of Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt and some more.

Both possibilities will be designed to make Reigns look good and even if the fans are not going to rally around him, Reigns will come out of Fast Lane looking like a hero.

#3 Seth Rollins

Rollins has been the most consistent performer in WWE over the past few months. He has managed to give out solid matches irrespective of the occasion with the Royal Rumble triple threat being the latest addition to that list.

The match turned out to be a classic at all levels and most of the credit goes to Rollins for his efforts. He is on a hot run and is unlikely to break that streak at Fast Lane. Randy Orton looks set to be the opponent for Rollins at WrestleMania and if that is the case, we will see Viper’s return as well.

There is no idea on whom Rollins will face at Fast Lane, but whoever it is, Rollins will be looking good thanks to what he does best, wrestling.

#2 Rusev

The Bulgarian Brute will have the biggest match of his career so far when he will go face to face with John Cena at the Fast Lane pay-per-view. Although there isn’t any proper background for the storyline, WWE could always get things up and running soon.

The rumors of Rusev vs. Cena for WrestleMania might be coming true as things stand now and the match at Fast Lane would be the first chapter. Since WWE will have a second match between the two at Mania, Rusev has to look good in the first one.

He might knock out Cena with one of his moves or put in a dominating show so that Cena will be projected as a warrior who needs to make a statement when it comes to WrestleMania.

#1 Sting

Sting has made two appearances in the WWE so far and both of them have been impactful. The first one came at Survivor Series and proved to be the end of Authority. The second one came on Raw which resulted in the comeback of Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback.

The third appearance from Sting is all set to happen at Fast Lane. Triple H has challenged the icon for a confrontation at the pay-per-view and knowing Sting, he is not going to back down from something like this.

For the first time, we might get to hear Sting talk in the WWE and we might also see a match being made between the two business veterans for WrestleMania.
