The SummerSlam after party went Vegas last night plotting the stage for WWE to deliver yet another action packed edition of Monday Night Raw.Superstars who didnt get their share of limelight at the pay-per-view on Sunday were compensated with some good push while some angles got another chapter added to them. It was the Dean Ambrose-Seth Rollins feud that headlined the show and the duo gave no chance of questioning that decision.Despite having a good angle, the acting limitations kept Bella twins from giving an A+ segment. Paul Heyman was at his best when Tag team division seems to have found a new life out of nowhere. As the company took the first step towards Night of Champions, here is a look at the Superstar Ratings for this weeks Raw.
#15 Paige 5
The divas champion looked crazy out in the ring and would’ve gone on to win the match if it wasn’t for AJ Lee’s distraction. The former Anti-Diva is slowly winning over the fans with her crazy character which adds more depth to the angle with AJ which looks set to continue.
#14 Dolph Ziggler 5
Ziggler’s first match after winning the title made him look weak. This wasn’t the performance that fans were expecting from the champion as Miz didn’t had to use any dirty deeds to get a win even if it was in the form of a count out.
#13 Natalya 5.5
It was a cheap win for Natalya but it is a win over the Divas champion. She showed signs of good chemistry with Paige and if provided with the time, just like AJ, Natalya could also give a solid match with Paige. However, for now, she has to settle for the win and expect nothing more.
#12 Cesaro 5.5
Finally, the losing streak came to an ending but the concerning fact is the lack of storyline for the Swiss superman. He clearly deserves a better booking and would be a prime candidate to rival Ziggler or Sheamus for the respective titles.
#11 The Miz 6
After losing the title at SummerSlam, Miz showed a great amount of aggression on Raw as he was out to win it back. He looked like a predator weakening his prey while he was working on Ziggler’s leg and could get another shot at the showoff soon after the count out win.
#10 Randy Orton 6
Orton is back to square one after losing against Reigns at SummerSlam and looked out of place on Raw. Working multi-superstar matches isn’t going to be the best path for the viper who is in desperate need for a refresh from his current heel run.
#9 Sheamus 6
The Celtic Warrior was one of those unfortunate superstars who didn’t find a place in the SummerSlam match card. Instead of giving him a good singles match to compensate for that, WWE chose the easy route which made Sheamus look like a background character.
#8 Wyatt Family 6.5
Wyatt Family is slowly transforming into the company’s ‘go to’ tag team in the roster as they are almost sure to deliver a solid match. This week was no different when the team shined even in defeat. The versatility that Luke Harper shows suggest that he is going places after the team breaks up.
#7 Rob Van Dam 6.5
After dispatching Cesaro at SummerSlam, Mr. Monday Night saw the spotlight on him was involved in a main event angle. Getting the pin in a match that has Reigns, Orton and Sheamus was also the takeaway for Van Dam who has made a name for giving consistent performance.
#6 Goldust and Stardust 6.5
The creative team finally made some moves to make their tag team division exciting. A win for the former tag team champions over Usos makes them automatic contenders in a division which looks competitive than ever.
#5 Mark Henry and Big Show 7
The gentle giants teaming up is clearly a big boost for the tag team division considering the star power that these two bring. The confrontation of Henry with Rusev suggested that the team might not be sticking around for so long which could end up being a bad step from the writers.
#4 Roman Reigns 7.5
Reigns is going more over with the fans as each week pass by. Though it was a six man tag team match on Raw, it was Reigns who got all the cheer. He is also showing signs of maturity in the performance he gives which somewhat cements the main event push that is waiting for him.
#3 Brock Lesnar 8
It was the champion’s first opportunity to make an impact but Paul Heyman stole the show with yet another classic promo. Lesnar has laid out the challenge to Cena for a rematch which suggest that we could see the next chapter of this saga at Night of Champions.
#2 Dean Ambrose 8
The lunatic fringe wanted a rematch and when it happened, the odds were stacked against him. Getting beaten up only makes Ambrose stronger .The news that he ran out without medical treatment lives up to his character of being a maniac who loves the pain.
#1 Seth Rollins 9
Rollins redefined the word villain when he curb stomped Ambrose into a pile of cinder blocks. It was one of the best heel performances from Mr. Money in the bank and has set up the stage well to continue the feud which is the best draw that WWE has at the moment.
