The Raw that followed Survivor Series carried a lot of expectations and this was one of the reasons why it fell flat. Fans didn’t buy the regular crap that WWE was giving them and instead of carrying the momentum from the Survivor Series, the writers wasted it.A lot of questions were left unanswered by the WWE throughout the week and if they want to get something working for TLC, they have to sort things out this week.We are just two weeks away from pay-per-view which has only has two matches so far. WWE’s latest edition of Monday Night Raw from BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma is expected to change things for the better and here is a look at the things we could expect.
#5 Talent isnt sexually transmitted
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
With that one dialogue, AJ Lee took the feud against Bellas to a whole different level. The fans now don’t know what will come out of her mouth which is part of the beauty.
Also, Nikki delivered a great promo on SmackDown. You read that right; she did deliver a good one on Friday Night. All these and the unexplained heel turn of Brie Bella makes this a feud worthy of looking forward to.
However, the biggest takeaway would be the way WWE treats AJ Lee after what CM Punk said. If the company goes to cheap ways we could see AJ getting buried big time in favor of the Bellas or we could even see AJ walking out of the company in a worst case scenario.
#4 New Day, new beginning
The stable consisting of Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been in the buildup for a long time and they finally made their debut on SmackDown. It wasn’t as good as expected but it’s always good to have a midcard stable with talented superstars.
Their theme song and team maneuvers were well spot on with the crowd but the big question hangs around their future. New Day is definetly not going to reach the main even status anytime soon and there isn’t another three man team to face them as well.
This will drastically split the team at times to fit into their opponents. Goldust and Stardust are the favorites to spark a feud with the faction and if that if the case then WWE should play their card at the earliest.
#3 Cenas future
The Cenation leader didn’t have the usual outing at Survivor Series due to various reasons but none can argue about the crowd pulling ability of him. Cena is still a big draw and with such a depleted roster at their hand, the company would be heavily dependent on him at TLC.
End of the Authority wrapped up the storyline that Cena was working in and this has called for a new one for him. The prime candidate here is obviously Seth Rollins. Rollins was the one who eliminated Cena at Survivor Series and it will be a big boost to his career as well if he faces such a big star.
Another dark horse in the picture is Randy Orton. The Viper is slated to make his return anytime and though the fans wouldn’t want to see another Cena – Orton showdown, they would love to see a three way between Rollins, Orton and Cena.
#2 Who is the anonymous GM?
Authority’s death has left a big void open in the WWE landscape. Last week, the company played it safe and made Daniel Bryan the General Manger. This week, the laptop might be making its return.
The tag ‘Cyber Raw’ points right into the laptop gimmick once again but even if it’s the computer, this is only going to be a weekly problem. WWE is going to run a ‘Manager of the Week’ gimmick till they get the right one in and we could see some ridiculous names till then. (Laptop for example)
Letting the laptop be the Raw general manager for the whole night would be suicidal and WWE has to make some big reveal at the end. Sting, Undertaker, Vince McMahon, or even Steve Austin would bring down the roofs and anything else would probably be considered as a disappointment.
#1 A response to CM Punk
You don’t take such big shots at WWE and walk away like that. Many superstars have learned it the hard way and so will CM Punk. After the things that he told on the podcast, the fans are expected to hijack Raw with CM Punk chants and what WWE needs to do is give a fitting response.
They can’t just sit around in silence and let Punk tell everything. The best way would be to just acknowledge and bury Punk on live television with some facts.
The other interesting way is to give birth to a parody CM Punk character that jobs to jobbers in the roster. instead of letting the situation work against them, the company should try to make money out of it and this possibility makes Raw a lot more interesting.
