WWE Monday Night Raw Preview : 21 September, 2015

KaneThe pay-per-view that WWE specially reserved for their champions is in the books. Surprise returns, title changes and heels filled the show which received mixed response from the WWE Universe. Talking about the past would be a waste of time, so let’s keep aside what happened on Sunday for some time and concentrate on the future.The new episode of Monday Night Raw will be the first stop for WWE fans and the episode will be expected to deliver goods. There are some questions that needs to be answered and there are some storylines that needs to be settled so here is a look at the possible things that WWE could come up with on Raw.

#5 The New Intercontinental Champion in town

Kevin Owens did what he does best and won the Intercontinental Championship at Night of Champions. It was a great decision from WWE’s side to take the title away from Ryback as his run was getting stale without many events. Owens now has the opportunity to elevate the championship and he will waste no time doing that.

Ryback is likely to get a shot at the championship soon and it would be interesting to see whether WWE would stick around with this feud or come up with something new for Owens and the Intercontinental Championship. Either way, Owens is going to have a great time on Raw.

#4 Who is getting the tables?

The Dudley boys got a win against New Day at Night of Champions, but the title didn’t change hands. The win came due to interference from Xavier Woods and Dudleys have all the right to have a rematch for the championship. The team is likely to keep it saved for Hell in a Cell, but we might get hints of the same on Monday Night RAW tonight.

The way in which WWE keeps the feud alive after what happened at Night of Champions will make or break the entire thing. The status of other teams should also be taken into account from this point onwards.

#3 Divas Revolution

WWE made a big point last night at Night of Champions when they made Charlotte the new Divas Champion. What was the big point you ask? They did not care about Nikki Bella, the only thing they cared about was breaking AJ Lee’s record and writing her off the history books. Since Nikki broke the record last week at Raw, WWE had no more restrictions to give Charlotte the title on Sunday.

It was a great moment for Charlotte and the Divas Revolution is going to take a big turn after this. Bellas will be struggling to stay relevant without the title whereas there will be strong claims for the title from Team BAD. However, the best part of the reign will come when Team PCB starts a fight within in the name of Gold.

#2 Is Jericho here to stay?

Chris Jericho came out as the surprise partner of Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose at Night of Champions. After an average match against Wyatt Family, the team suffered a loss and in the post-match segment, we saw some friction between Jericho and the former Shield Members. The feud between Reigns, Ambrose and the Wyatt Family is far from over. But the biggest question from last night’s match is: Is Chris Jericho here to stay?

It could’ve been just a one night gig from the former Champion and WWE could come up with someone else to push the feud forward. Things will be clear once this week’s Monday Night Raw gets over. So here is one more reason to watch this night’s Raw.

#1 Revenge of the Monster

Almost every wrestling fan out there would have felt sorry for Sting last night. The 56-year old veteran produced a great match with Seth Rollins at the pay-per-view, but unfortunately for him, WWE had no idea of giving the championship to him. Sting is currently 0-2 in WWE and is building a streak of his own. However, the biggest take away from the match came when Kane returned.

The Big red monster is back and he is going right after Rollins. And from what we learned, he is in no mood to make any friendships. Rollins is going to have a tough time with names like Sting, Kane and Sheamus behind him.
