WWE Monday Night Raw Preview : 23 June, 2014

As the WWE heads closer towards the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, they are going to make another stop to bring us a potentially blockbuster episode of Monday Night Raw.There are a lot of developments to be made with the current angles as they remain half boiled heading into the pay-per-view. Last week WWE gave their fans an action packed show which revolved around the broken Shield. This week might produce something different as a whole match card is to be built for Sunday. So here is a look at the most important thing that the WWE might include in the latest edition of their flagship show.

#5 Battle royal after effects?

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

With just one week to go for the Money in the Bank, the WWE have only confirmed three matches for the pay-per-view which are, the two ladder matches and the match for the tag titles.

However, last week the company had a battle royal in which the seeds were sown for some potential feuds. Bo Dallas was the one who was in centre of most of them as he saw his nose in the business of Bad News Barrett and Rob Van Dam.

The match also saw Big E and Rusev refresh the feud that they had while Jack Swagger was yet to have an angle. Three or four matches will not be enough to fill in a three hour show meaning that we are bound to see at least three new matches added to the match card.

#4 Emma or the Funkadactyls

The situation with Paige is turning out to be a confusing one. She defended the title against Alicia Fox at Payback and is yet to have an opponent confirmed for Money in the bank.

The lights of Cameron and Naomi have been in the mix with Paige with the latter getting a non-title win as well. Naomi is the clear favorite as thing stands now but the creative team has left a lot of options open.

Apart from Cameron, the WWE also showed interest in showing the fans how Emma and Paige had some friction even if it was on a lighter note. And since Emma and Paige had some great matches back in NXT the same happening in the main roster cannot be counted out.

#3 Dustbusters

After changing his partner for the millionth time, Goldust finally found Stardust with whom he managed to win a match.

The latest incarnation of Cody Rhodes has earned the attention of fans from all over the world and Cody might be stuck with the gimmick for some time. The duo might still have another run left in them as tag team champions and Cody’s new paint might be the launching pad.

Another possibility that WWE could use is to have Goldust get tired of his brother trying to copy him. The company could easily set up the match between the two for SummerSlam giving the fans what they need.

#2 Lucky number six

One of the big news that came from last week was that there will be a second ladder match at the pay-per-view for the briefcase containing a guaranteed title shot.

Seth Rollins is the only one confirmed for this match and the WWE has revealed that there will be six more places that need to be filled. Everyone who missed out an opportunity to qualify for the ladder match for the title will be eager to get into this one.

Rob Van Dam, Dolph Ziggler, Rusev, Bad News Barrett, Big E and Dean Ambrose are the early favorites to contest in the match however; it will be interesting to see what tactics the WWE will perform as a qualifying process after last week’s battle royal.

#1 Contract signing chaos

The Money in the Bank ladder match for the WWE title has its seven participants confirmed. Namely, John Cena, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Cesaro and Randy Orton.

These seven has been having some friction from last week itself and its going to reach the epitome when they get into the same ring to sign the contract. The contract signings in WWE are bound to produce chaos.

And since the magnitude of numbers is simply high, the repercussions will also be the same. Expect someone to stand up in the end and that would most probably be the one who will stand tall in the Money in the Bank math as well.
